Late Pre-Order and Goro doubt.

Just wanted to know if anyone can confirm this.

I preordered the game almost a month ago on Steam, and lately I've seen some sweet offers around so I was thinking about cancelling the preorder and get the refund as even the game is on my library the preorder can be cancelled if it isn't released yet, and then buy it again using one of those offers.

My doubt is, if I do it this late, literally 1 day before the game officially arrives, will I still get Goro? It's one of the things holding me from cancelling the pre-order (other being a lack of trust on third parties for this kind of stuff).

I honestly have no idea, but if it were me, I would just play it safe and go with the one you already pre-ordered that way you don't have to worry about not getting Goro.

At least when you buy the physical copy I can confirm that even if you "preorder" an hour before release you would get the bonus.

I did it with Bloodborne.

I just preordered mine at Gamestop like 4 hours ago and i still get goro, it's just a digital code so shouldn't matter as long as you preorder, its not something that has to be shipped with the disc.

I don't know how steam works though, but i assume you won't have an isuue

I literally a few hours ago cancelled my physical copy preorder at GameStop in favor of the digital version on the PS4 and I already downloaded the Goro preorder and the entire game preload. Got more time to play on Monday night now.

Yeah, I can confirm that preorders on PSN made today still get the Goro preorder bonus. Dunno about Steam.

Well, finally decided not to change anything anyway because refunding an item disables the market for 7 days and I'm not sure if that means I can't accept items from third parties so I'm not taking risks. Thanks for the info anyway guys :)
