I disagree. A character based on a bow is new to the Mortal Kombat and I like his special arrows. His moveset with the bo is just beautiful to look at. I cannot wait to play as him.

I don't like how they copy and pasted Tanya, Nightwolf/Green Arrow, Kunglao, and Liu Kang's specials on him. He has mini razor hat in his Shaolin variation too. I think hes the least unique/original out of the new MK fighters. I guess even this game has a Kira too.

And did you not see his staff variation? Not unique my ass. I mean yeah, his Ancestral variation is basically Green Arrow but even that is different. His Shaolin variation is the obligatory Kung Lao hat toss but at least it makes the Flying Kick an anti-air.

He has the most copy and pasted specials compared to the other new characters, so of course i'm going to say hes the least unique among them. Its just an opinion.

He uses the word ancestors = total Nightwolf clone. I don't see the Tanya of Lui Kang either. HIs Shaolin has a mini Kung Lao hat, and he can add different buffs to his arrows in his Ancestral, the rest of him is basically all unique form what I can tell. I guess you could say some of the martial arts he does resembles Lui and Lao, but they are same style and not the same moves. He seems like the perfect zoner with many distance options or a great rusher with range. Him and Takeda are in line to be the first two I try out.

His bow/staff kick strongly resembles Liu Kangs fly kick. I agree that the use of the word "ancestor" screams Nightwolf. In fact I'm surprised that we haven't seen one of those R.I.P Nightwolf threads yet lol. No offence to you, it just seems to be a trend around here.

We've seen these moves from other characters already. So of course some won't be impressed by them. Sure, you can try to point out all the technical differences in gameplay, but visually its something we've seen before

I find Kung Jin to be the weakest member currently of Cassie's Scooby Doo gang. This is however an admittedly ignorant judgment as we really don't know anything about the dude so I reserve the right to change my opinion later. That said he looks goofy but maybe his alternate(s) will be cooler.

Oh you mean that ONE move Nightwolf has with his Spirt Bow? That's the only move Nightwolf has with a bow and arrow. And even then, he never used them in Fatalities or his X-ray. You can call Kung Jin heavily Green Arrow inspired, but to say he ripped off a move from Nightwolf is hilariously wrong.

Kung Jin also sounds like he is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch so that would make him even more awesome imo.

For different effects. His chakram allows mid air height changes, as well as it can return with when ex'd. And only his Ancestral variation is heavy on shooting arrows, which means you have to choose between mastery of the bow or the use of the mini razor hat. That's what make the variations so cool.
