Kuai Liang
First off allow me to say despite there still being a lot of negativity, i am so happy that we have another Mortal Kombat title. We might all argue and bicker, but i am i know for a fact we all do so because we love this dam series with a passion, and for most of us it has been our childhood. Also i am sure most of us stuck around since mk1-present day.
On to my topic Ofc to me it means a lot having Kuai Liang as Sub-Zero, and i am so happy he is, and i really hope this could finally put to rest every single time a new game comes out everyone is screaming it's "Bi Han he looks evil!" I am thankful that MKX firmly establishes Kuai as Sub-Zero, Bi Han's story as Sub-Zero served an important development in his character, and gave us Noob Saibot.
I do hope we see Bi han return as Noob, and maybe he could be part of a
MKX spoilers!
Anyway i am Just Thankful To have my main man firmly back, and leading the Lin Kuei, and from everything i have seen from the story mode he is a mature man who comes into his own while doing his best for Earthrealm. I cant wait to see what is in store for my most favorite character of all time in any entertainment medium!
P.S i know there is people who prefer Bi Han, i am not trying to insult anyone please keep it civil, i am just expressing my thoughts, and i am sure there is a ton of people who Prefer Kuai like i do, being that also he has been the Sub-Zero since 93! also.

Pretty much agree with everything you said lol especially about MK being most of our childhoods and being really passionate about it.
Glad that the Liang fans got him back in this game, I myself was hoping for Bi-han but im not mad about his apparent absence, maybe they are saving him (As Noob) for the next game or possibly DLC.

I'm glad he got Grandmaster status back in this at least. One of the better things they could have kept from previous games. As far as Bi-Han/Noob Saibot...
I'd like for Liu and Kitana along with the other revenants to be restored, leaving a power vacuum for Noob to take hold of.
Noob Saibot keeps revenant Smoke under his control for the Noob-Smoke alliance in this timeline, except when Sub-Zero or Ashrah confronts them and Smoke breaks down, he's restored to his MK2011 human form instead of that cyber demon thing. Win/win, we get references to both and people can again choose which Smoke they want to play as and his potential from the last game isn't thrown out the window.

Agreed, and That would add so much for the story with Sub-Zero trying to restore his brother, and help smoke. Which makes Sareena's inclusion all the more warranted, and needed. Call me stuck in the 90's, but seeing Liu Kang evil and Kitana doesn't work for me. It feels out of place.
Which is why it bothered me when everyone was like Bi Han is Sub-Zero, it is like no respect for Kuai he HAS been Sub-Zero it is his title for 20 years now! Bi-hans Story is as Noob imo.

Yeah, I prefer heroes to stay heroes. I can accept it since they're Revenants and it's not some cheesy, badly written turn for no reason.
I wouldn't have minded Bi-Han returning as Sub-Zero for a game, or an alt costume. Hell, if they keep the variation system, give Noob Saibot some ice moves/fatalities like MK4. I just feel like with the reboot they should take all the interesting things he had going with Ashrah/Smoke/Kuai Liang in Deception and really flesh them out more, since Deception's story hooks all got dropped immediately with Armageddon.
I know that sounds like a shitty fanfiction writers' idea, especially the part about having Smoke eventually come back in his MK2011 human form, but I just think it was a shame it all got forgotten with Armageddon.

See that is how i feel i see Kuai Liang as a hero, has been a good guy since mk2, and to repalce him with his older brother after he has been the Sub-Zero(kuai) most people identify with seems like an insult.
I love that Kaui is a good guy, and i love that he wants to make the LK a force of good ( like he has) if Bi han had some ice powers in a variation as Noob i think thats fine, actually like the idea, but when it comes to who should be "sub-zero" i think Kuai has earned the right to call it his.
It's odd that both Kuai Liang and Sareena (cameo) are in MKX yet there's no scene in Story Mode with two of them interacting with each other like extensively in the old canon. from Deadly Alliance to Armageddon. I find it rather odd NRS would overlook this interesting plotline.

Yeah as soon i heard she would make a cameo in the game i was certain we would see her during the Sub-Zero chapter. Sareena looked great i hope shes a DLC.
Kuai Liang in the story is pretty much old timeline's Sub zero. He is again shown to be the wise and mature Lin Kuei grandmaster. He has an awesome scene with scorp.
I am pretty sure many will agree that he is the best written character in the whole game.
As for Bi Han, MK11 would answer that.
