I was checking the GameFAQs message board for MKA and this person had a more brilliant idea than I could have thought of! This would be awesome for both endings and bio screens! ------------------------------------ From: blueninja4444 | Posted: 2/8/2006 12:52:38 PM | Message Detail I just remembered something, and it's sad too cuz I don't know if I'll be able to learn more about this something. But... I have a friend who bought a Japenese PS2 off Ebay and inturn bought many Japenese games so he could play them. He had a game in which he culd "Create-a-story line" for his created character. If Ed Boon chooses to keep the story board endings, and adds this "create-astory line" which in turn could be used as create an ending or create a bio for MK:A. Here's how it worked: He could pick from a couple different scenes and each scene had a silhouette character or two. Each Silhouette character had a number to represent them and you could pick from in game models to represent who would fill in the silhouette. Here's an example of how it could work in MK Armageddon for KAK... You scroll through a couple backgrounds when you get to one with "character 1" sticking a sword through "character 2". You assign your KAKs model to Character 1 and Quan Chi's model to Character 2. In turn you have a scene of your KAK stabbing Quan Chi with a sword. Then you could add some text "Under orders of Shung Tsung, blueninja4444 had been sent to kill Quan Chi and succeeded in this mission." to the scene and BAM you got your KAKs ending. Another possibility would be Character 1 sitting a throne chair and Character 2 bowing down to him. You could put your KAK in the throne chair (as Character 1's model) and have Scorpion be your servant (as Character 2's model). IF you don't like that, then change Character 2's model to Shang Tsung or whoever you want. The plus side to that would be creating an ending to a KAK for your buddy and making him to play through Arcade Mode to see the ending you made for his character. I don't rememebr what game this was that had that function, but if it was in Mortal Kombat:Armageddon... Wow, imagine the possibilities. Actually, the point was that if the character's have story baord endings like in DA and D then your KAK will blend right in with this feature. -------------------------------------------- I'm drooling thinking about the possibility!

I don't know this idea is only I mean ONLY for the rabid perfectionist/fanboy/
MK nerd who has WAY,WAY,WAAAAY too much time on his hands. For casual players, forget it.They wouldn't give a crap if they could make their own ending they play for the carnage.

I really don't think that the casual player really cares if they bring back Stryker or Mokap or Sareena any of the characters that they'lll be throwing into Armageddon either. Give the casual player Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Noob, Reptile, Rain, Ermac and any other ninjas, give them fatalities, and they're happy. However they're giving that to us, aren't they? A game like this next one, with every character ever, plus create a character and everything... they're going all out for this one. I don't think that this idea is too out of the question.

If you ask me, that idea is not great all. Since they have a Kreate-A-Fatality and a Kreate-A-Character feature in MK7, I think they are enough. I wouldn't care what ending the kombatants have. Fanmade endings would make the plot sound awkward and ruin it.

Obviously, Fan-made endings would be non-canon. I just like the idea of being able to kreate my OWN Mortal Kombat game that way, in a sense. What if you could trade characters online? Trade a character to someone and when they beat the game with them they see the ending that you wrote. IMO it would make the homemade characters integrate a little better if done well. I think one that would fit unobtrusively would make that character that much better.

*prays that Kreate-An-Ending never makes it*

It seems stupid. The casual MK fan (like me) wouldn't give a damn about it.
