Ok so the game ends with only Raiden , Sonya and Johnny Cage alive..

think about it .. this is perfect for them to pull this...

with all the realms coming into play but none have alot of characters (chaos realm or order realm) netherrealm has a good core but you can't just load the game with bad guys ..

also who knows if mileena or who ever takes over for shao khan ..there will be tons of in fighting..


Think of this , the guys who make the next game kreate a few different story lines for say 5 new characters and you can chose their power or maybe they come with them like pretend you never heard of sub zero n then you could chose that power ..would be pretty cool..

anyway here is what I would love and want some feedback on .


- game opens up like always , tournament yada yada .. netherrealms obviously working with chaos realm and taking advantage of earth and outterrealm being weak..

- you can chose to align yourself with any realm , each realm has a pre-made charater that maybe you can adjust things like gender , small things , color ( but the official character would be 1 color) ..

- now each character fights for 1 of the realms .. you can choose how you go about this even to the point of a fatality (you can create them ?) means you decided to kill the opponent ( like evil kombatants do) or you just win like good guys do ..

- you gain peoples respect and they can teach you a skill to advance your power , or gain a fatality you can add to your kollection

- now say you choose earth realm you can try to get with sonya blade but also cage can be the hero and you can be what he was to liu or you can be the hero.. each with a different ending...

- say you choose outterrealm maybe you fight to bring back edinia or maybe you fight to rule or maybe you are loyal like baraka to a fault .. praying things work out with whoever ed boon chooses to take over for shao khan..or shao didn't die whatever they do..


-you'd be able to join clans , do odd jobs so on but keep the fighting as it should be but you have to level up like a bioware dragon age 2 type game ..where it goes along with you ..

- this way there is about 10 stories easily that you have to finish before you truly beat the game .. and it is your character..but also ed boons character ..and never the same experience..

each time you will be completely different looks wise but also what clans you'd be available to join , where you trained ( they skip this but you start off little or something maybe?) where you report would be bosses realm or the realm you want ..

- maybe you work for noob and the brother hood of shadow but like him plot to overthrow sinnok/quan chi and then attack earth realm ...

- the characters would be minorly created with a group of names to choose from or 1 solid name each so it is canon..

only 1 ending can be canon but ed boon and company can make it so all the characters really did exsist in his universe and can become regular characters..


this way we don't have to keep bringing people back from the dead either as people would grow to know these guys stories so fast .. emperor or general ..guardian or side kick .. plotter or chess piece ..

you'd have completely different powers with each character , different looks maybe a ninja in netherrealm like noob and scorp , a tattooed looking reiko type in outrerworld a monk or cop or gang member in earth realm so on..

you'd also be able to be good or bad in all realms ..choose to defy your god...which also would be cool to see these gods of each realm ..

not like taven or the other mk where you wandered but really it was the same thing over and over and nothing you could do about it..

this would be more open ended but each story would have a true canon 1 ..

these 5 fighters could replace missing fighters ..Im not saying throw away jax , kitana , liu kang ( well maybe him ) , kung lao , nightwolf , stryker , smoke , cyborg sub zero , jade , so on.. but for the next game maybe have earth realm discover a way that you or cage can help raiden resurrect ...whoever not all leave a few dead.

maybe leave night wolf and stryker dead and it was their destiny .. after all strykers just a proud cop doing his job..dies for it...dies in glory ... nightwolf is a shaman who for decades has followed raiden till he died and worshipped the elder gods rightfully and his sacrifice was a must and put him at peace finally in heaven ..so on ..

kitana comes back to regain control of edenai and become queen she brings liu back to marry her

jade comes back to be her faithful body guard as kung lao comes back to do the same for liu saying he can't let him get rusty and needs some1 to train with...

ermac finally gets to rest / lord jarod? instead of suffering and prolonging a life of torment for the most part..

have cryber sub be reprogrammed to work with noob a family reunion made in hell literally ..

jax come back and marry sonya blade..

johnny cage marries some1 .. so on and you're a new generation of the fighters ..

the old 1s all have kids with eachother ..who train like they do ( now 2 styles! ) .. and the netherrealm has to start over of course .. noob and scorpion still alive as they are warriors no mere mortal will ever kill ..


you then can start a new series of mortal kombat with the likes of every1 in the game after this but then the next 1 would be the kids as the parents grow out of there duties ..

this is in a way what armegedon was supposed to do we were told they want to clean house and maybe even start all over .. well they have now continue with everything else you said ( new heros) .. this is a great way.


if you disagree with the last parts fine I get it keep the legends around but it isn't a bad way to back out of what happened..

and the kreate a character ..if done right..would be amazing and could create a group of new favorites for ppl ..you'd really get indepth with their stories like we have with noob , sub zero , scorpion ect ..who ever your favorite is..

you could choose your allies for the most part ..like how jax and cage weren't friends really but on the same side ( or at least looks that way in some games/movies/comics..not always) ...

add to the idea if you like it btw I know there is tons of room for improvement..think about it..you could marry mileena and create the next ruler of outerrealm ..of course meant for when u and her die.. lol
