a mix of da and deception

you pick a character and you walk around learning how to use him. Like you pick sub and you are in the lin kuei strong hold. you learn how to harnest the cold. throw your first ice ball. and you keep learning.

I also wanted everyone to have all the sepecial moves everyone had from the begining of the collection.

like sub has

freezeball
freeze shower
ice clone
cold shoulder
cold leg? he does a slide
freeze the floor
backwards freeze

and all of that.

bring back all the fatalities

and bring back all the costumes.

The training things really bore me to tears. I really didn't like the first Konquest for that very reason, and the Deception adventure version had plenty of tedious lulls.

I really just wanted to unlock videos, music, and characters, and bump into a few guys like Rain, and Shao Kahn.

I think now that something like Shaolin Monks has been fully realised, we can probably assume the Konquest style of adventure gaming has broken off to it's own realm of play.

I'd probably like to see something 2D from the bonus mini-games.
Maybe a 2D platformer a little more elaborate than Mythologies, with all the new looks for the characters, a fun little story, MK style battles, and drawn animated sprites, instead of capture technology.

I like the 2D platformer style to be in Konquest and for the boss battle it will turn into a normal 3D battle match

Konquest in MKDA was amazing. I loved all the text info we got, it was really interesting to practically read about the characters life and their powers, it was well done.

And while I didnt like MKDs konquest as much as the first (because there was no text info), it was more fun to play and I really enjoyed it.

I didn't mind MK:DA's konquest mode, as I also liked the text that gave background on the character and the story that's around them. On the other hand, I absolutely despised konquest in MK:D. It was a boring, ugly, repetitive fetch quest that never seemed to end. It was a good idea in theory, but the execution was awful. Perhaps it could be fixed, but both konquest modes seemed to me like very long excuses to get money to unlock stuff in the krypt and learn how to play the game. I think they could find better ways to accomplish that end. Just my opinion, but I think they should split konquest into a good practice mode and a good story mode with video intros and endings. Leave the party minigames for a party game spinoff and leave the adventure type minigames to MK:SM. I don't need all of that window dressing in a fighting game. Improve the fighting engine, bring the graphics up to next gen levels, add some continuity to the storylines and add more fighting game related modes. Perhipheral stuff in MK like konquest, the krypt, test your whatever and all that should be at the lowest level of priority below the other stuff I mentioned before.

As I said, I thought MK:DA's konquest mode was pretty solid, but if konquest is a big part of the development cycle, like it seemed to be with MK:D (just guessing, but this mode was rather massive) well, then I think that's a bit backwards. Spend the most time on the fighting engine when making a fight game. Then characters, then game modes, then story. That's my 10 cents.

I'd rather 2D kombat, with no loading or conversion times.

You plod along on the platformer trail, and then, DUN DUN DUN!
SCORPION is challenging you to mortal kombat!

And then you fight in a (classic) MK style (with these cartoony sprites), and then continue on your way, shooting, punching and kicking your way through the platformer world.

Like a Mario, or Sonic kinda deal.
Only you could play as Sub-Zero (and/or others), and fight Tarkata, and what not.
