Well the game is finished.. can't really say it should be in MKX when we all know that the game will follow the MK9 method.

Konquest has been the story representation leading up to MK9. I am not surprised at all that they outed it when the current story format was decided upon.

I think out best hope is a "Fire & Ice" game with Scorp/Subzero.

I'd buy that game in a heartbeat. New territory with an adventure game? With MKSM, I knew it'd be everything we came across in MK2. Bosses and areas were even predictable. Imagine a post-MKX Adventure game that explored NEW territory?

Fuck yea, man.

With the comics also picking up steam, it could borrow and intertwine with the continuing MK lore. I'd be so in!

Konquest was the best, hopefully they bring it back for mk11

If you can combine the combat fluidity of Shaolin Monks with the open world opportunity of exploration Deception had, I would be down. People seem to hate Deception's Konquest, but I just love the amount of Nostalgia and Lore packed in it.

I wasn't a big fan of MKA's Konquest. It felt like a watered down Shaolin Monks, despite it's story approach.

I think they can work on Both a new fighting title and a new adventure title.

Because NRS won't be working on the adventure title, it'll be a different studio maybe Rocksteady?

I hope they do that, NRS works on a fighting game and at the same time Rocksteady works on an adventure MK title.

I would love a konquest mode as long as it doesn't force you to learn everyone's moveset like Deception did. That was very annoying, it killed Deception's konquestion mode. If it wasn't for the suprize training mode, Deception's konquest mode would have been way better than Armageddon's.

I have said this several times, I always thought it would be cool if NRS did a prequel game about Shao Kahn's invasion of Edenia. Whether it be another fighting arcade style game like MK9 and MKX or a more adventure game like MKSM or konquest mode from MKD. I have always thought that would be a cool idea for NRS. We would get to see a younger Shao Kahn and Sindel, Kitana as a baby, King Jerrod, perhaps throw in Jade's parents, maybe Tanya's ambassador dad, Rain, hell even throw in Delia and Argus and Taven and Daegon somehow. I feel like there is a lot of potential for that plot and we would get a lot of cool story development. It's also a opportunity to clear up story speculation that we've had over the years. Just also long as NRS doesn't fuck it up with a terrible retcon like MK9.

This is basically what the Krypt could be like.
