Kitanas Official 3 Variations (and mini descriptions)

Playstation Trophies wrote a preview of the latest build of MKX that accompanied the Living Towers/Faction video and they had a bit of interesting information naming and explaining Kitana's 3 variations:

- Royal Storm is all about zoning with her trademark razor-edged fans
- Assassin is primarily focused upon rush-down attacks to cover ground and get up in your opponent's face
- Mournful a fighting style that sees Kitana busting out special attacks using the glaive and staff of her close friend, Jade. (Everyone knows about this controversial one by now)

They also touched briefly on her xray saying that, "[it] featur[es] two daggers plunged through her rival's jugular."

This information definitely isn't as interesting as a variation reveal video but the Kitana Fan Page youtube channel has you covered there. They've put together a fan (pun intended) variation video that looks pretty accurate.

I hope her x-ray is better this time. I always thought she had the most lackluster x-ray in the last game.

I think I'll be playing mournful more, just because I think it's cool that she has another weapon.

I have a feeling there will be a huge discussion going on in this thread on Thursday!

I'm looking forward to seeing her Mournful variation. Fingers Crossed it isn't just a copy of all Jade's MK9 moves.
The Assassin variation looks the most badass so far. She seems to be ruthless, aggressive and deadly. Even her look is dark! This is what she hasn't really been before.

Not feeling the Mournful variation as of right now. Should probably look better in action.

Royal Storm for me so far! Also, love that she has a counter move.

Well the one singular move we see is new so hopefully they're going in a new direction.

Royal Storm and Assassin both look great. Will be fun to pick between those two on a match-up basis.
