Khameleon (female) or Chameleon (male), or both?

(Cue the ever-so-clever "Neither" replies, or those saying they've been deconfirmed as if that forbids people from talking about them)

So, if you could only choose one of them to return, who would you pick? Or would you be okay with both?

In my case, Khameleon, of course, if I could only choose one. The possibility that this mysterious male ninja besides Kotal in the comics is Chameleon has me worried.

Sure, they could give him an individualized moveset and design, but if they did that and brought him back over Khameleon, I couldn't help but feel that they favored him over her for the mere reason that he's a male ninja, even more so if he was canonically established as a Saurian (something many fans believe), as there would then likely be no reason his moves couldn't have been Khameleon's, instead.

An individualized Khameleon could give us a female "monster" in the vein of Sheeva and D'Vorah, which isn't all that common in MK. I think she shouldn't have breasts in her natural reptilian form, but a human disguise alt/variant is a different story.

Storywise, her being good is something I find refreshing, and it would be even fresher with a fully Saurian design. They really missed an opportunity by not including her in MK9 as a part of the story mode (then again, I doubt she would have survived Sindel's onslaught, and be brought back in MKX).

I'd be open to both of them returning, though, if NRS could make both of them significantly different from each other.

Neither are all that appealing, that's not clever that's fucking factual science. If I had to choose one it would be the "K" for the sole purpose of carrying reptiles seed.

LoL @Lokheit. I agree with Neither. To me, they are in the same category of "fun character" along with Mokap and Meat.

But in the spirit of the thread, if I had to chose one to be modernized in MKX, it would be Chameleon the male. It's a new timeline, so I'd make him TOTALLY revamped. He would not be a saurian at all. He'd be a warrior with the ability to absorb powers and abilities. He'd be a hooded warrior who wears a mask that has no features (like Vega from SF or Amon from Legend of Korra) to show that he is metaphorically "face-less". His twist ending is that he was Shujinko in disguise the whole time, following the orders of the mysterious spirit known as Damashi.

But anyway, I have this idea of Chameleon being this huge ninja fanboy who saw all of the ninjas in action during the invasion, is trying to copy them all, and who made an outfit that combines features of all the ninjas'.

In his ending, he gets murdered by Pinklett, who's furious Chameleon didn't dedicate any parts of his outfit to him. Pinklett, always spreading the love for himself.

That's only if it's a thread thats been buried for years. Adding to a thread about a characters inclusion in MKX is fine. Besides, its not like we dont have a k/Chameleon thread every so often.

I'm just tired of seeing the same exact threads being made over and over again.

Well then, this thread could be stickied, or turned into the Khameleon/Chameleon superthread, like the one Tanya's got.
