Hey, sorry if this was already talked about, but I wanted to say that Kan-Ra, Killer Instinct's newest fighter about to be released, would be an interesting choice to include as DLC in MKX. I figure that most would agree on Fulgore as he would be my second choice but I would love to see Kan-Ra go against Quan Chi in the arena. It would be epic in my opinion so what are everyone's thoughts? Any Kan-Ra fans like myself so far?

If it's not Fulgore It has to be Riptor or Sabrewulf.

That is true, but still even though he is new to the franchise I can see him fitting into the series but will they consider KI characters as DLC remains to be seen. I see your point.

Me too.
And I don't really see a character from another fighting game coming into MKX because if they can bring a character from another fighting game they'd just do a crossover the guest character will be someone from a show or movie.

I think Sabrewulf could fit the Nightwolf story line of being his avenging brother

I am digging Kan-Ra's character design.
He heavily reminds me of a crossbreed of Havik and Drahmin.
Well, it's not unheard of. I mean, different company and all, but Capcom put one of the new Street Fighter IV characters into Marvel vs Capcom 3...out of all the new characters to put in, they put in Crimson Viper.
Your favorite character not making it in is simply because the company has no need for them, especially when the series has Story modes and making the characters relevant in them.
A guest character is not taking anyone's spot.
Stop it.

Kan-Ra might prove to be cool...but crossover characters should always be famous icons, that's what gets people the most hyped. So if there's a KI guest, it needs to be an original like Jago, Fulgore, or Orchid.

Fulgore would be the obvious choice.

Kan-Ra would be a great fit. I honestly feel like he would fit in the MKX story mode better than Fulgore, but you know guest characters don't have anything to do with the story mode...
He could be a great replacement for Shang Tsung if he doesn't make the roster.

That was my thought as well.

My favourite wut? I want to see as much MK characters in MK games as possible, that's what I'm saying, the resources used to create any character are limited, relevant to the story or not, I'd prefer them to devote themselves to MK characters. Cross-over games exist for a reason.
While we're speaking, the new trailer just came out: He seems more of a trap grappler especially the mummy wrap move. What intrigues me is how Kan -Ra an Egyptian managed to become an advisor to the Babylon even though Egypt was never subjected under both phases of the Babylonian Empire. Egypt was however conquered by the Assyrians and the Persians before Alexander rooted the latter out. Kan Ra from his story arc seems to be some sort of Egyptian Shang Tsung while his arena happens to be his experimental Flesh Pits per say. Plus collecting Glacius's soul at the end. Plus a bit of Fujin with the sandstorm winds. Oh and the teaser at the end...love his reappearance!

Apologies. I'm assumed you were one of "those" people who keeps crying about "muh favorite character is not going to make it because they're spot keeps getting taken".

Well, I meant that he's perfect for MK, in my opinion.
Distant grapple move.
- One slams the opponent in the air for air combo juggles.
- Another he just constantly slams them like Jax.
Kung Lao spin attack.
Ground projectile attacks like Freddy Krueger (MK9).
Then he has little other moves that would be great for Shinnok to have. Instead of Sand Hands Attacking, replace with Skeleton.

Kan-Ra does seem very MK-ish. Love his style! What a badass character, he looks cool as fuck. I've decided to finally get an X-Bone this month.
But yeah back on topic, Fulgore would be the obvious choice for guest character in MKX.

Well KI guests wouldn't make a difference to me since I assume they will be Xbox exclusive and I own PS3/4 but I still think Saberwolf would be the coolest, he looks awesome in the newest game. I wouldn't mind seeing MK introduce a character like that, maybe not a werewolf since people would think its a copy cat character, but a character that has a less humanlike body. We have had a few in the past (MK3 Motaro, Onaga and Moloch to a lesser extent) but I wouldn't mind some another character like that.

No, the only KI character I want in is Chief Thunder, so he can fight Nightwolf.
