Am I the only one that doesn't see this as a reason NRS will put in more guests? This just screams KI wanting to jump into the easy cash grab that NRS has been receiving as of late.

MKX already had two guests. I'd bet 500 dollars we won't get anymore. NRS will want to save those potentials for future sequels.

As much as I love for MORE MKX, I really am amazed at how much people are bending over begging for another Season Pass/Kombat Pack.

I disagree. KI is allowing players to use him for over a month free of charge, all you have to is have the game lol. I'm guessing they'll release him later for $ but I don't think it's for that reason at all

KI looks cool so I am not a hater (id play the sh** out of it if I could) but I don't see why THAT is a reason for NRS to make KP 2 extra amazing (It should be anyway lol)

The character may be free for over a month but it's really just a publicity ploy to get more players to hop on and buy their content in the grand scheme of things. It's smart, I'll give them that.

Out of all of Rare's characters, they pick a Battletoad. It's cool, but I'd rather have seen Joanna Dark.

I think a battletoad is a great choice for a guest. Hes got a great variety of moves and looks pretty cool in game from what I've seen and not too out of place. Joanna Dark (while I like the game) would have been such a boring choice to me personally so this is awesome to see.

But maybe they should work on the next game instead, one where the online is good. I bet MKX lost a lot of players because of that.

I haven't touched MKX online since I finished all god awful online achievements.

This is not long after The Terminator was announced as the preorder bonus for WWE 2K16. I blame the Lego Movie. Having Batman, Gandolf, and Shaq in the same movie is too hype.

Rash was an awesome choice for a guest character for Killer Instinct. Joanna Dark would have been good too but not better then Rash. Way better guest then Jason that's for sure.

Kombat pack 2 can be amazing WITHOUT more guests. Just throwing that out there.

Not amazing for WB's wallets. Who'd actually buy Fujin, Sareena, Bo Rai Cho, etc?

They could just mix it with two lesser known characters like Fujin & Sareena and then have two more popular returning characters like Smoke & Cyrax. It's not like people just 100% won't buy the lesser known characters, they just need to be interesting enough. Fujin being a god would be enough for most people, NRS would just need to play to that in the advertising.

DLC characters are all about marketing. Unless it's someone from MK2 you could have Dairou sell a lot if he was marketed properly.

Most casuals fans don't know much beyond the originals. They're the ones that the ads are for. Hardcore fans represent a very small portion of the game's fanbase.

Any character, guest, new or returning can sell if his trailer kicks ass.

Why bother with future sequels when you can keep milking this one? Sf4's lifetime was SEVEN YEARS. NINETEEN DLC CHARACTERS.
