was watching one of my all time favorite movies The Story of Ricky when I realized this is where the Xray move must have come from. Move is at end of clip.

Several kung fu movies have used the x-ray shot. The most famous that comes to mind for me is the Jet Li movie "Romeo Must Die".

I actually believe it came from the NFL game that had a trailer on either the MKDA, MKDA or MKA disc. I forget which. It had X-rays all over the trailer. I imagine ed watched the trailers on his own game discs at some point. In my mind, it had to have something to do with it.

Well I don't know where it came from but other games has Mortal Kombat x-rays in them. The most noticed one this year is Sniper Elite 3.

Mortal kombat wasn't the first game who implements x-ray. Skip to 1:11 Minute.
