Well, I think there should be a due date of the information for the game, like 6 months or so after they start coming up with ideas.

But I think there has to be SOME restrictions on how long they can take.

Otherwise we will be waiting 10 years before the game is released.

Well, MK signed a contract with Midway that requires a game every year. That could be a reason for the rushed games. I'm not sure when the contract expires though.

Did you even read their post? Mortal Kombat signed a contract with Midway? Ummm,...last a checked, Midway OWNED Mortal Kombat.

For me, I would rather have the game not to have a due date. Makes things better seeing how Midway rushed Armageddon, face it they did. I think they should just come out with the game when they know that they're finished and like what they see out of it. Not release it because it's the due date. Let us wait, makes thing's interesting for some people... including some people right on this site, but I'm not naming anyone.

Well I don't think Armageddon stood much of a chance regardless of the due date.

I personally think this game will be rushed to, I mean its probably going to be developed and released in the same amount of time frame as the last couple games, and on top of that they say their starting from scratch, that to me screams rushed. I sure hope not though. But why is this in the future games forum, should'nt it be in the MK8 forum?
