I am a Kung Lao player and he is 10 times better than Scorpion,Sub-zero or the characters you mentioned.

Nobody is OP in this game, at least from what I played, I didn't find anybody who can defeat my Kung Lao yet.

I use him and Raiden a lot and not to toot my own horn but I'm running everybody with those two....

Takeda is definitely not OP.

I've used Kung Lao here and there just because he is someone familiar but he definitely isn't my favorite to use.

people who only play "good characters" are lame anyways, if u like lao play lao and be happy your main isnt someone everyone uses

i want to see a video of you then give me some tips for Kung Lao what do you use buzzsaw? thats what i use how should i play him i usually jump around and use those legs!

I mainly use buzzsaw and enhanced the hat during my combos to keep the juggle going....

And surprisingly Kotal Khan is very fun to play as for me. He's OP as hell in his Blood God variation while the War God variation creates some interesting mix ups.

I've only seen one Kung Lao player. Same for Kano, Quan Chi, Reptile, Ermac, Jax and Cassie.

I have seen 2 or 3 Sonya, Kitana, Liu Kang, and Kung Jin players.

Haven't seen anyone playing Jacqui, Shinnok, Ferra/Torr, and Johnny Cage.

The ones I see the most are: Goro players (they always use the Punch walk and the jump teleport as spans), Grandmaster Sub Zero (infinite number of clone and slide spans), Inferno Scorpion (spamming the clone and teleport, needs a nerf, very quickly), Raiden players spamming that fly move that I forgot the game, Shirai Ryu Takeda spamming the spear, with lag that thing is impossible to dodge, and there is Liu Kang, his speed alone is already a pain in the ass, them comes the people who keep spamming fireballs and the fly kick.

Anyway, if your character is rare than that means you are a dedicated player (most of the times).

He's overrated tbh. He's always been bland as hell but somehow gets the best fatalities lol
