Cyrax sure didn't like that movie...

And that comment about Tobias and Boon being lazy to add new characters so chucked in ninjas was wrong...

Back in the old days (when games were at their prime) there was always insufficiant memory for a game, so many things had to be cut, in the case of mortal kombat there wasn't enough room to add an entriely new character so they added recolours instead... As they wanted a certain number of characters to be in the game.

Try making a Wolfenstein 3D mod and you will see what i mean...
Mk needs camo ninjas, lol...

Ninja wise I think they should add Tremor and leave it at that. though there isn't a white palette swap ninja...hmmmm

Some ones Mr. Negative. LEts get something straight Mr. Negitve the ninjas that everyone loves are as followed: Scorpion, Sub Zero, Ermac, Rain, Reptile, and Noob. Not many people like Chameleon, and I'm not sure if we're talking about the cyber ninjas.

No more ninjas, at all. It's ruining the variety of MK. They should all die except for Scorpion and Sub-Zero, which probably will be back for MK8.

After that, maybe I can accept one more ninja, that's it. But, it actually has to have real ninja concept. Three ninjas is enough for the future.

We have basically ten ninjas:

Scorpion

Sub-Zero

Noob Saibot

Reptile

Ermac

Rain

Cyrax

Sektor

Smoke

Chameleon

Even Blaze has a resemblance to a ninja with the appearance of his face.

Everyone needs to listen to Sub-Zero_7th. If anyone can bring up a good argument about ninjas, it's him.

In response too the previous message about the number of ninjas there are the true number of ninjas vary on what you see as a palette swap ninja

1-Scorpion
2-Sub-Zero
3-Palette swap Ninja Smoke
4-Ermac
5-Noob Saibot
6-Rain
7-Reptile
8-Classic sub zero
9-Inferno scorpion if you count him as different from scorpion
10-Tremor

No more 'ninjas' please. Scorpion is the only actual ninja in MK yet he does a poor job at playing that part - see Sub_Zero7th's post on the first page. We don't need anymore of their types in the series. We need lots of new character designs centered around fresh concepts.
There are tons of "ninja"s in MK. All in all, there are 19 "ninja"s including Cyborgs, and women folk.

Only these male ninjas should survive:

Sub-Zero - Sub = MK
Scorpion - Scorp = MK
Ermac - Has way too much potential. It would be stupid to get rid of him. He can either take the path of good or evil.

And maybe Noob Saibot - thats only if he comes back as grandmaster/leader of the Brotherhood of Shadow with a completely new look.

Everyone else can rot in hell.

I think they should make a character called Meteor, Female.

Bio: Place of Birth- Outworld
Allighnment- Good
Allies- Liu Kang, Sub-Zero,Kenshi.
Enemies- Shao Kahn, Blaze, Motaro, Onaga.


Meteor is the brother of Ermac who was killed by Shao Kahn and forced to be his slave, but she was rescued by Kenshi who sacrificed himself to save her.Now she's out for revenge.

Wouldn't Tanya be the yellow female ninja? I just thought so since she dresses similar to Mileena, Kitana, and Jade. She's just never worn a mask....

no more ninjas and Predator ripoffs,PLEASE,i prefer they introduce new characters like Hotaru and Dairou,i think they are better than the washed out "ninjas" in MK,as everybody said and it's the most logical thought,is to keep Sub Zero and Scorpion and nothing else.

I made a white ninja too in MK:A. Except I named him "Light".
Since this is a thread about ninjas, might as well...

1) I remember a comic about this issue in the Kombat Pavillion.

2)If you need these ninjas out of MK, just make a ninja game. Also noted on the Pavillion.
