What are the interactions have been demonstrated?
Âa
Object pitches. Improvised weapons. Movement with branches. Correct? Will there be others as Traps (acids, animals)? And the use of arms loose as the MK4, which only saw the trailer, will be present? Is there any chance of having transitions arenas have two levels?

Taken from the Gameplay info thread:
The only stage 'traps' I want are stage fatalities. Not the ones that you can do mid-match, the ones like in the previous title.
also Boon tweeted that stage transitions will be absent.
SCENARIO INTERACTIONS:
You can interact with multiple scenario elements, which will be highlighted when you get close to them. Some of these interactions include:
- Throwing an element, like a bucket, a branch, a floating corpse or an old lady (yep, you can throw an old lady flying towards your opponent).
- Performing an special attack with a tree branch or using a crane to propulsate towards your opponent.
- Using certain elements like the scenario borders, a stump or even a giant tiger to jump higher.
There are a lot of elements you can use and it seems you will have to learn about each different scenario and how to use its elements on the fight.

Boon said on twitter the other day that there will not be transitions stages like there was on injustice or the older MK games.

Shame. I was kind of hoping for the classic MK3/Trilogy transitions. Quick, clean, and didn't interrupt game play.
Only environment interactions I'm liking so far is the ability to leverage yourself out of a corner and environmental weapons. Not too keen on Blanche, and the body and barrel throws.

The environment interactions are sweet! Cannot wait to see more Just don't agree with having an elderly lady (Blanch) being used as an object. The corpses are fine though.

I agree. I hate seeing anything that the characters wouldn't actually do via story. That was a big problem I had with a lot of the MK9 fatalities.
And if anyone responds, "come on! It's Mortal Kombat! Get the stick out of your ass. It's funny!"
Is it? Is it that funny? Was anyone holding their sides when they saw a character throw the old lady? Even if someone got more than a chuckle out of it (which I doubt), how old is that going to get?

They may be transition stage fatalities like in the trailer.

I think there are gonna be stage fatalities specific to each character.
Ed said that a lot of MKX Interactables are going to be MOBILITY based (like getting out of corner pressure, or closing in on someone zoning you out).
Damage Interactables are obviously in but they are BLOCKABLE, and wont be as fantastical as what we saw in Injustice.

C'mon Temp pacifist protagonist archetypal "Good Guy" Liu Kang morphs into a torso eating dragon and drops MK I arcade cabinets onto people. Throwing an old lady is tame by comparison. Not to mention, Liu will gladly uppercut Kung Lao into a bed of spikes just as readily as Sonya will feed Jax to a giant evil tree.
MK has always had a fair degree of schlock, it's NOT as serious as people seem to think OR as serious as people want it to be.

Yeah... but at least that's in the context of a one-on-one fight. I go into the match willing to suspend things like that. It's all about perimeters. I'm willing to shift where the fence is depending on what's going in the game.
To illustrate, take Shang Tsung's MK2 friendship. I'll roll with it (and love it) because it's happening in the context of a finisher. Now imagine the rainbow is no longer a gag: Shang is shooting rainbows as a special move now. It's no longer just an isolated element in an insulated context; it's now contaminating the overall aesthetic.
That's the problem the old lady. If the characters do something in-match that wouldn't fit their fight style, it's hurting the immersion for me. It was the same problem with Sub's teleport in MKvsDC. I was like "huh? Since when can cryomancy do THAT?!?!" Though I do love the cabinet drop fatality.

Wait, what?

I think I'm one of the few Sub-Zero fans that like him being able to teleport.
I compare his powers a lot with X-Men's Iceman, whose control over ice gets to a point where he can reform his whole body from water vapor (and even urine in one really really weird issue) and make multiple ice clones of himself (which he can control and in fact share his mind, as seen during a story where Iceman is corrupted by apocalypses seed and the clones go rogue and split the personallity). Or even transforming himself into a titanic ice giant (which would be baddass for a Sub-Zero fatality).
He isn't a master teleporter, but he has the abilty to reform his body.
In MK vs DC, Subbiyes teleports were fitting. One of them was slow and position based only, merging his body with the ice on the ground and the other one made his opponent shatter his body on a parry move and then he reformed like Iceman. It wasn't like he was going teleport combo crazy like Scorpion, Sektor or Noob.
I loved Subbies MK9 entrance where he forms his body with ice dust, and he does the same on his tag outs on 2 vs 2.
I'm fine if he doesn't have teleportation moves, but I think it's completly viable for a Cryomancer to do that and it wouldn't break inmersion for me.

All the questions I asked were answered with one exception. And the gun we saw Sub Zero use the trailer as a weapon of MK4 and falling to get a hit in the frozen forest. Be in the game?
