Yes, even though I would be kind of pissed off, they'll probley make another character that is twice as better. Anyways the characters their gonna kill off are probly the one chance characters(Sheeva, Kintaro, Rain, Jerrek, ect.) It would not bother me though it's just one character

hell no. they could kill off everyone exept the one-shots and it would still be a kickass series.and if they did kill off the good people (stryker, kung lao, sub zero) imagine how KICKASS that game would be. deadly alliance ring a bell? i hated liu, but he needed to die.and stay dead.

I't doesnt matter. If they killed of my favorite Mortal Kombat character, which is Scorpion, the fans would be too pissed off. Then, ALOT of people wouldn't buy Mortal Kombat 8. They would loose sales!

Where did Boon say that Sub-Zero and Scorpion won't be in the next game? I'm reading and Interview in Game Informer, and He says, "I can't imagine that we'll come back [in the next generation] and not have a Sub-Zero or Scorpion," That means that they probably will come back... anyway, back on topic. No, I wouldn't quit, because Mortal Kombat has so many characters that even if my favorites were gone, I would still have so many characters to play with. By the way, my favorites are all of the Ninjas (Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ermac, Noob, Rain, Reptile, Smoke...) so there is no way they would have a ninja free game...

They already killed off my favorite character, but if all goes well Shao Kahn will be back and once again the last boss. Even back when he was unplayable he was still my fav.

yea, I have alot of favorites, if they took all of the ninjas and cyborgs out it would suck though, if noob, scorpion, and reptile got taken out it wouldn't be as good, but then again Im used to not being able to be my favorite characters

yer. they killed off Sheeva before. i liked all characters equal once Motaro and Sheeva had both gone. I waited a while but sheevas gonna be in the next one and im gonna perform nasty fatalities on Kano and Shao Kahn for killing Sheeva!!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Yes I would still play. Tthey took out a few of my characters ...Like Rain (god i love him, he is cool) and has never returned. Also Ermac, I'm glad he is back in MK:DA...even thou they made some changes to him, and took 2 MK games after, before he returned. It just will take some times before you find a character u will like who suits you...even thou we know u will see some familier moves with a different name to these new characters. I wonder if they will do it like how they did MK Thrilogy..when you can select...MK 1 or MK 2 version of your charcater.

MY fav characters died several times, They were even gonna make a movie about him repeatedly dying until he left the studio coza loopholes in da script..........sadly MKD didnt hav much good characters, but they did bring kabal bak my 2nd fav so i wasnt too pissed, and YAY, theyre both in da next game, whoooooooo!!!!!!!!

Probably not, I didn't even play deception until I found out you could access Kitana with action replay. Now I play all the time!!!

I read an interview with Ed Boon and he said he would keep some of teh more popular characters. Now my favorite is Shao Khan, so he probably will die, since he is a bad guy and bad guys die pretty much every where. But i might play, if the new generation of Kombatants is good. But no more ninjas. They have way too many.
