Liu Kang's gotta be the boss. Doesn't matter if he doesn't make out the size of a Goro/Shao Kahn/Onaga, or the sorcery of a Shang Tsung/Shinnok, he's the man. I'm pretty sure Shang Tsung's gonna meet his end, but by the storyline, Liu Kang's soul should be restored by the heavens because he is in fact MORTAL KOMBAT'S CHAMPION. So if all the rules are put back to normal, so should Liu Kang. Regardless if it's boring or not, he's gotta be it. Plus the champ is ageless anyway. Gamemakers can make his difficulty to be extreme, kinda like fighting a Bruce Lee x 10 as the boss. Wanna be the champ gotta beat the champ
