Yeah, Rain and Sektor should both come back. They have huge potential. Rain's storyline should revolve around Kitana, Jade, Sindel, and Shao Kahn. Sektor's should probably deal with the Special Forces and Red Dragon. Sub-Zero is still in Outworld though if he were to return to Earthrealm, then yes, also Sub-Zero.

I'm so with you on this....Rain and Sektor are awesome. Rain is my favorite ninja, and Sektor was my favorite robot. But anyways, I hope they bring them back plus sheeva and reiko.

I was kinda interested in Rains story but they left him dormant for too long. They've brought back enough ninjas i think.

i would love to see sektor in the next game.... but rain? his best special was the lightning bolt, but thats the same as rayden( and nightwolf). another ninja is pointless, and if he if he throws waterballs...NO. i thought his story kinda sucked, he went on a suicide mission.

I don't know. I mean, if they can bring back characters like Ermac, Jade, Sindel, and Nightwolf, they could bring back Rain. I mean, look at how distinctive the ninjas have become. I think with the way things are with Kitana's storyline and Sindel's storyline and the current state Edenia is in, Rain has some good story potential.



No, you're wrong. Rain's Lightning Bolt wasn't like Raiden's or Nightwolf's. I think his story has potential. As for the "suicide mission", we don't know if that actually took place. I think some people misunderstand the suicide mission thing, thinking that he died. Rain basically wanted to take down Shao Kahn by himself to avenge the death of his father, an Edenian general. With Rain's mission, he's putting himself in great risk in the sense that it seems almost nearly impossible for him to take down Kahn.

actually in MKD nightwolf stole the lighning bolt, and it was the exact same. what i am saying is that we already have a lightning guy and that is rayden. youve just got to let this guy go, he was a joke character thrown togather with no real story.

No, it wasn't exactly the same. Rain's Lightning Bolt move acted as a pop up while Nightwolf's didn't.

Just because Raiden has thunder and lightning powers doesn't mean that Rain shouldn't be in the game. I mean, there's Sub-Zero and Frost as well as Ermac and Kenshi.

Sure, Rain is a joke character, but so was Noob Saibot and look at how Noob Saibot's story has evolved. Rain's storyline has potential with the story he was given in the MK3 timeline.

i dont have any problem with Rain coming back....but he MUST NOT be a ninja!...enough of them already....a knight-like look would really fit him

I had been thinking about a knight look myself. I was thinking that he could have a Hwarang (NOT Hwoarang, the Tekken character!) type look for one costume and a Sulsa (NOT Salsa) look for the other. The Hwarang were basically like the knights of ancient Korea and the Sulsa were sort of like the ninja of ancient Korea. This would give him something much more distinctive than the others. If they give great, unique looks for the other ninja characters, the same can be done for Rain.
