Wouldn't be a Friendship if the opponent was killed. Would just be a funny (or not) fatality.

I'd like Friendships to return, but not as joke Fatalities. They should be what Friendships were back in the MK2-3 days.

big YES to Friendships, they've been absent way too long, it's the perfect balance to the fatality option- which is why they shouldn't have gore in them,
they're a refreshing break from the gruesome finishers, but mainly I'd like them back because they're a good laugh and highly entertaining!

If they had to return, I want Sub-Zero, Scorpion and any other "ninja" character have those dolls back.

I freaking loved seeing "Buy a Sub-Zero doll" for a friendship.

I'd like them to be how they were in the past, just cute or funny. Nothing extra. It's kind of difficult for me to imagine what the friendships would be though.

I'd like them to begin as friendships but have a dark edge - like the return babalities in MK2011.

Like Kitana pulls out a cake... which suddenly starts to rot, and falls to the ground covered in maggots.

Or one character draws a flick cartoon book - but when demonstrated is of a really gruesome fatality.

I loved friendships because it was like adding fuel to the fire. I just beat your ass now let's be friends... I always saw them as more of an insult than killing the person because of that aspect.

The cake one would fit D'Vorah better considering the maggots, which are bugs.

I'm all for them the more ways to finish a fight the better.

Fatalities are becoming so gruesome that I think Friendships would be a nice counterbalance to faces being sliced off.

My preference would to keep them light and humorous.

I'd love some character specific Friendships. Like, (if they were in the game) Sonya giving Johnny a kiss or slap, or Liu Kang getting chummy with Kung Lao.

Pretty much how they were originally, updated like the Babalities in MK9.

I just hope, and I'm going to assume they will do this, that the opponent actually interacts with what's going on.

Be given a gift, they react to it, whether it's a good gift or it blows up in their faces.

I wouldn't mind some more "friendships" where the winner does something dickish, but not lethal, to the loser. Like Ermac's, or those of Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile in MKT.

Kintaro's friendship could see bowling pins drop behind the opponent, followed by Kintaro jumping high in the air and landing on his opponents, then sliding them in the pins (basically his stomp attack from MK9).

Or, the word Friendship would appear right away, along with the theme playing, followed by Kintaro roaring, and teleport stomping the Friendship logo, which would stop the theme dead in it's track, then he'd kick the opponent off-screen. The announcer would say "uhhh, friendship?" in a hesitating or intimidated tone.

Goro's friendship could be similar to the second suggestion, only he'd uppercut the Friendship logo away, then grab the opponent and pound on them endlessly.

Finally, Kano's friendship could be a reference to his censored heart rip fatality from the SNES version of MK1, where he rips out nothing, much to his surprise, and the words "No violence allowed!" appear right above him. Kano then seems on the verge of crying as the friendship theme plays, and the word friendship appears on the screen.

He did pull out the heart on the Snes version. I had the game, played it and preformed the fatality. It was in his hand.

Yeah he still ripped it out it's just there was no blood code for the snes version. I still have the game and console.

I want the option after doing a friendship to do a fatality. That would be a twist!

Call them "Crueality" Have the screen say "Cruelty" then the letters separate and the "a" and "i" fall into place.

Cassie Cage pulling out a pop gun to the opponents head

Scorpion starting a small fire under the opponents feet and the fire follows as the opponent runs of the screen

Sub-Zero using his old ice puddle move and the opponent slips and hurts themselves

D-vorah sending a swarm of bees at the opponent stinging them all over leaving them all puffed up from the stings

Kotal throws opponent on a sacrificial pedestal ties them up and walks off
