Ideas for MKSM sequel

Here's my pitch, if anyone has contacts in Midway, please contact them if you like this.

Multiple storylines!

Liu Kang and Kung Lao:
Takes place during MKG, where they are forced to take down the menace of Shinnok's army.

Reptile and Khameleon:
Partially canon storyline, taking place during MKT, when Khameleon finds Reptile and they try to take down Shao Kahn and restore their race to their former glory.

Sonya and Kano:
In an original storyline taking place during MKDA, Sonya finally captures Kano and attaches a bomb collar which will explode if they are too far apart. However, during transport, the Deadly Allince attacks and Sonya and Kano are forced to team up to defeat the deadly duo.

Kitana and Jade
Takes place during UMK3, Jade is assigned to assassinate the traitor Kitana, however, a change of heart puts her and her friend on the same side, as they decide to team up and take down Kahn.

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi
During MKDA, their conquest to destroy their enemies basically

Baraka and Mileena
Takes place during MKD, Mileena and Baraka are pawns for Onaga, however, after destroying his enemies, Mileena convinces Baraka to turn against the dragon King, and she gains control of Kitana's army, when Baraka figures it out, the final battle is player vs player as the two face off, if it's one player mode, player 1 fights until they win and their ending plays, if 2 player, ending depends on who wins

Scorpion and Classic Sub-Zero Takes place during MK1, Scorp and Sub are battling while their clans are at war, when Shang Tsung intervenes and destroys their squads forcing them to work together and defeat him for the good of their clan.



Noob and Smoke

Maybe a non canon storyline illustrating a mission these two had, either against sub-zero or a new boss, maybe it's time to give belokk a shot at MK.

Frost and Sub-Zero
Takes place during MKDA, canon storyline, end the same way as baraka's and millena's, where the two players fight and the winner (or iif it's only you keep trying til you win) sees their ending.

4 PLAYER MODE

MK: Armageddon
Instead of taking place at the pyramid, it's all throughout the realms, pick any character you want on the MKA roster, minimum of 2 maximum of 4, to play hrough an expanded MK Armageddon storyline with.

I'd like to see one where Sub and Scorp team up for some vague reason XD these are pretty good though. The only one I don't care for is the MIleena/Baraka thing.

it's pretty good. Maybe for a sequel to the Scorp and Sub one they're working together to fight Shinnok or Onaga or something ^_^

none of the ideas tated above is good enough.
i don't want a couple of protagounists,but a entire team.
i'd like to control all the chosesn warriors from MK trilogy(including also Johnny Cage and human Rayden),with a gameplay similar to Marvel Ultimate alliance,setting everything during shao kahn invasion of earthrealm of course.
this is the best idea possible.

I would like to see Frost featured somewhere. You know, despite her being in only a few games, she's gotten a lot of the creators liking her (as in her bio video) and that she was originally supposed to be in MK2.

So, she should have something. Though the rest of your ideas seem cool enough to work. A few touch ups and you might have something!

Please lord may there never be a game that focuses only on Scorpion and Sub-Zero. That would be utter trash.

I'd like to see a Shao Kahn and Reiko game. Or maybe Sonya and Jax. Possibly Black Dragon. So many options.

A game based on the chosen warriors of MK3. Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Stryker, Sonya, Kabal, Nightwolf, Sub-Zero and Jax. I don't know how it would work, maybe just one generic storyline from the good side, and one from the bad, or maybe you get to play an individual story for every character. But I like MK3 the best.

In a MK:SM sequel there should be three selected co-op teams of two.

Like;

Noob & Smoke.

Scorpion & Sub Zero.

Lui Kang & Kung Lao.

Then maybe each team could have their own special fatality, involving two killing off maybe one enemy at the same time. In a story mode.

Wow, you hold the key to THE BEST IDEA POSSIBLE? Possible? Amazing, guy.


Personally, love hero RPG games like X-Men Legends and Justice League Heroes and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. An MK game like that WOULD be awesome, with a great storyline and a good reason to team up a ton of characters.

this is the logical way to go at this point. unless they do some mythologies style prequel games again.

Great Idea, but why limit the game to just that time line? Why not have the entire time line of the MK universe starting out from the MK Tournament with Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya being the only playable characters from the start. Raiden would only appear as a mentor figure during the MK1 section of the game. You would fight the bosses, Kano, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Goro, and Shang Tsung.

A cool idea to have would include key events in the MK universe and it would allow you to get the spot light with your buddies if playing multi-player. For instance let's say you pick Sonya out of the three possible choices, you would have an event occur with her fighting Kano in the tournament, and let's say your buddies are playing as Liu Kang and Johnny Cage, they would sit on the side and watch the player who is Sonya fight Kano in a 1 on 1 fight. Anyway you get the idea hopefully. When you complete that section of the game you go into act II, which is the Outworld tournament.

As you start off in Act 2 you would of course have Sonya not available to play as, instead your choices would be Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Jax Eand Raiden who decides to fight in Outworld. You would run into Scorpion again and when you beat him a second time he becomes a playable character. Sub-Zero is in the same light. Your bosses would be, Kitana (who becomes available after defeating her, Mileena, Reptile, Baraka, Kintaro, Shang Tsung, and then the all might emperor Shao Kahn.

I'd list all the different events from MK but I think you guys get the idea, it would be awsome if this game was run on the Unreal 3 engine with each character having their own unique control scheme. Instead of them basic multiplayer games like the X-Men Legends, each character could have their own combo systems, stances, and special moves which basically plays out like Shaolin Monks.
