i'd like to see kabal or mavado attach there hookswords together to do medium range attacks along with there normal attacks with there hookswords. it would do greater distance for swinging that particular weapon which would increase the damage caused.

that's if kabal or mavado returned. if not i'd like to see a new character wield hookswords with a new story about that character.

i would say yeah if they did it like they did in trilogy because i dont really like the different fighting styles but thats just me. plus not every character always uses a weapon.

That would be a pretty sweet move if it could be used like, a couple extra hits in an air juggle;

I made a thread on this very idea prior to MKD. I was hoping Mavado or Kabal would be able to utilise this technique in MKD but the idea didn't come to fruition unfortunately. Hopefully for MK8 they could do something like that if they still have weapons in the game.

Hookswords have the potential to be one of the most dangerous martial arts weapons in the world. The way the fighting styles were interpreted in the past MK games felt kinda stiff, their needs to be more fluidity and more moves.

A weapon is only as dangerous as dangerous tghe wielder can be. Not more, not less. Oddly enough, Hookswords use grappling instead of swings, so..., no.
