i hope Fujin dies. But, hear me out..

Story wise, I hope Fujin does from either a currupted Raiden or one of his mistakes. From there, he returns towards the end of the story resurrected by the Elder Gods. Sort of like The White Wizard, of God's. Perhaps destroy or weaken Raiden. Make Fujin playable and relevant.

In order to be an opposition for Raiden?



Why is his death needed for that? He can clearly be antagonistic towards him if he continues to fuck up. Killing him just for that is nothing but fishing for cheap drama.


The kind that has no pathos or consequence, since he is ressurected. So in effect, this is the WORST kind of thing you could do with him.

Fujin needs to be the one to end Raiden's fall into madness. He's already a god, he just needs the wisdom.

I guess the Fujin death is a tired plot point.

I can just picture Fujin surprising Raiden and putting the Thunder God to rest.

Then Raidens essence is what sparks the consciousness of the One Being... Boom MKXI or Armageddon 2. You decide.

I think Raiden and Fujin are both lesser Gods, entities given god like powers by the Elder Gods to function as protectors of specific realms as a way to keep balance between them. Like all jobs we have hierarchies, Raiden has the highest position regarding Earthrealm, for now.
