Hello i'm new to this forum, but not new to Mortal Kombat itself.

Anyways, we all know this game has been out for quite some time now, and there are tons of people with crazy ass combos. My idea is like a combo freestyle type game.

We are all familiar with the Challenge which requires being Kitana vs Jade, where you have to make bigger damage than your opponents last attack in a time limit, right?

My idea is based off that Challenge. Here's how i would set it up.

Detail#1 - Make it like a KOTH type thing where 2-8 players can participate.

Detail#2 - Make it into a tournament style game, (yea i'd rather have a Tournament Mode to...), much like SSF4's Tournament Mode.

Detail#3 - You would gain points after each combo from the spectators, kind of when you earn koins for doing combos in Arcade Mode, except the spectators would determine the amount of points you should get (Respect Points anyone? lol.)

Detail#4 - There would be 2 Criterias, How many hits your combo does, and how much Damage your combo does. Each person has the option to choose from 0 to 5 points, equaling 10 points Maximum Overall Performance (it's only fair right?).

Detail#5 - Creativity is key to any freestyle type contest, so try to refrain from doing the same combo over and over each round, or you'll get disqualified and sit in the bench by a combo recording computer thing... (I haven't thought this detail through yet, so if you wanna help and make this detail better, that would be appriciated =)

Detail#6 - There will be a single round each match (Winning 1 Round moves you up the braket.) except the Finals which will be a 'Best out of 3 Rounds' match.

Detail#7 - You will automatically have 3 Bars of meter each match, but not an infinite amount (like you can do in practice mode), so there will be no infinite combos.

Detail#8 - The winner can recieve a trophy/achievement for winning, or something.

Well there you go, that's all i got. If you think there should be something added, taken out, etc., etc. feel free to post it, because you never know, one day NRS will take a look at this and actually make it real (Highly doubtful lol).

Welcome to MKO and that sounds like a good idea. It's uncertain if we're getting anymore DLC

Anytime you give spectators the ability to give a score, it never ends well for anyone.

thanks bro and i know. but if we are getting more DLC in the future i this should really be made, remember, Boon is known for saying "No" to somethings and it makes the game. just like babalities.

Welcome to MKO.

I believe MK9 is in the latter end of getting any more DLC other than maybe a few more skins. This is probably something that could be considered for MK10, so this should probably be moved to Future MK Discussion.

To be honest, considering there will not be any downloadable stages and things (I'm not looking through a hundred tweets for that quote), something tells me a mini-game would be a little difficult to incorporate into the current game. Therefore, I'm moving this to the Future Discussion.
