Duke Nukem Foprever was "ready" in 1999 with the updated Q2 engine. The release date was set around October. Later it was retconned to be under development with the Prey engine.
Duke Nukem Forever was ready in 2000 with the new Unreal engine. The release date was set for 2001 January. Later it was retconned to be under development with an updated truly 3D Prey engine.
Duke Nukem Forever was ready in 2004 with the Updated Physics engine engine, the release was set on Christmas. Later it was retconned to have a DooM3 engine.
Duke Nukem is preset on the date "when it's done". 3D realms what has merged with several studios are alone financing the project started years ago, and programmed the game to finality but with 9GByte on the excess memories. Currently no config can run the engine, since it has a determi-ned AI for every polygon.
If they set a release date, that is because of the commercial timing, not because they are done with it. Thats why they rush the games, because Midway is a small fry compared to the former 3D Realms conglomerate.
Stop acting like you've been lobotomized.

What kind of logic is that? They're planning to release the game in October so they have to get the game finished before its October release therefore, the game is NOT finished. You obviously don't know what you're talking about so just stop plaguing the forums with your nonsense.
