show me some proof please. Also, if you really did get this job, what would you be doing (e.g programming, testing, artist.)

i am computer sciences graduate and did some programing jobs (software dev) before nothing game related really. (except a school project and some mugen lol) did some testing with atari (game testing not software testing)
right now i work at verizon as fiber optics technician

and as i said mk8 was not mentioned it says chicago team, a fighting game on both ps3 and 360

2. Obtain all information about your duties, compesation, and daily commute.(budget)

3. Let them know your situation..They are people, alot of times "employers" are willing to bend to your situation to accomodate a save and stable relocation....especially if they are not willing pay for the relocation? Did I read that right?

I mean a couple cities away I could understand not paying for you, but states?

My cousins telemarketing job paid for her reloc....why not Midway?

thanx a lot man, yes thats why im not too ken, although im a big big big mk fan, i dont see m self quiting my current job and going to chicago, not knowing where to or where to stay, and yes it was stated clearely on the email that they will not pay for any relocation even partially.
so i am gonna email the guy back tomorrow and let him know the situation and see whats gonna happen, i will keep you guys posted, thank you very much.

you know what, Bleed has had a job interview with Midway before. You might want to PM him and hear his experience, so that you know what to expect. Maybe he can give you some tips as well.

Send me the job lead, I graduated with a bachelor's of fine art in december, majored in media arts and animation, love MK, need a job, and live 20 minutes from Chicago.

What makes you think that your gunna be working on MK8? Midway does do other games. To be honest with you I dont belive you just because alot of ppl talk shit and you cant really believe what ppl say when its sumthing like this. If you could prove this somehow that would be great. But I really dont care. No offense.

Don't "e-mail" them your situation, talk face to face about your situation...sheesh.

They haven't even seen you before, why should they care about your situation sitting in front of a pc? Don't do that to yourself man. Handle the business in the meeting IF you are SERIOUSLY considering. Serious canidates is why they inquire...Not "turtle-pokers"..

And if you don't see yourself leaving your current job anytime soon for greater opportunities, just let them know you aren't interested in the position. The worst thing you could do is waste their time...and yours.

dont worry i cant get the job anyway :( , i checked with immigration (because i am not an american citizen) i cant leave school (im taking a class right now) for any reason, so i have to stay in dallas till at least end of may, so im screwed, for anybody interested, i just posted my resume in the midway.com website, it took them 18 months before they replied, but seriously they dont care abt the 5 years minimum experience etc, if you are confident you have what it takes go for it.
