Ive seen multipul previews for the game, and it looks like it is the last MK game there will be. Unless the rumers on the internet are true. Ive seen some listings, that the new MK games, are going to have all different characters than the ones that we already have, and all the old characters, will not be in it.

If this is true this is what i expect:

1: A new theme song simaler to the first one, accept the names that the deep voiced guy chants will be different.

2:There should be an online competition where you create character ideas, for the game designers to put on there MK games.

and

3: One of those characters will be my created character in a previous post .... wait i forget his name, but if you read my post you would know who i was talking about.

___________________________________________________________

This game would be set 50,000 years in the future, people would be technologicly supirior. Shang-Sue, would sumon himself out of the underworld, and restart the ancient and legendary Mortal Kombat

Shang-Sue would be defeated, by the unexpectedly more powerful warriors of the future, and his destroyer would of course be evil. And he would start a new stronger MK.

I would want this game to ave the same graphichs as MK1-3, but as an addition to the technological superiority today, have an arcade mode and a story mode grinconfusedgrin

umm dude, there is a thing called MK in the next generation, you obviously don't pay too much attention towards people saying about what they're going to use for MK8, the Unreal tournament system thing, the only problem with MK8 that it won't come out until 2008, i have no idea what the hell you're thinking about there isn't going to be a game called MK8... what a stupid topic to talk about close this please!

I disagree there... but u could prove me wrong...
It will use the unreal engine 3.

Ed would like to go for a look like Gears of War.

Almost the entire cast will be new characters. sub zero and Scorpion will probably still be in.

The fighting mechanics will be new

The story will be new

Ed would like to get more of a realistic look for the fighters.

That's all I can remember...

^ Remember this, If you watch the whole thing, Ed Boon says something like " We redone the graphics gameplay" (etc) Similar to what he is saying about MK8 now so really I just expect the fighting mechs to be and vastly improved 'Virtua Fighter 5' kind of fighting almost to where it looks and plays and is as fluent like two fighters actually fighting, that is all I see changing + graphics of course.
It won't be even close to VF5 on game play, if their past efforts are any indication.

Even DOA is a far reach for them.

It's just their mind set I think, with every game coming out, it seems they kind of slap stuff on there with little after thought. Very basic and under developed concepts.

They are starting to show some improvements though, but only after a massive amount of critique from the public.

A lot of the things they are barely starting to do should have been common sense years ago.

Well i read in a recent post that Ed said they were coming out with a new MK game every year, so that pretty much answers my question.grin
