I am afraid of whats going to happen to mk in future,
I mean people just die at the end or sudden death,we all know that....
what if Ed boon died what will happen to mk?what will happen to you guys
I just hope not,Ed boon is a great man for mk the leader, and I hope nothing will happen to him, what if some one replaces him and removed sub zero and scorpion and changed the tilte.......we only need Ed boon, nothing more nothing less
what if mk has been closed,it's not going to last at the end,we always need to prepared for something which has not happened, and hopefull willnot happen

That's a very good observation..long live Ed Boon, he's one of my favorite human beings of all time...all around class act...hopefully MK will go on for a long time...

No, we need more than Boon. The story has been pretty shaky since Tobias left. Dan Forden makes perfect music for the series. Tony Goskie makes incredible artwork as does Steve Beran. And they're just the veteran MK team. There are alot more people working on the team that have tremendous talent.

While I agree that the MK team have been doing a bang-up job for a long time, the writing is indeed incredibly shaky. Vogel has many great leads to follow with the end of MK4 and with some things from MKM:SZ still open to interpretation, and while I think he did do a great job with MKDA, he didn't do so swell with MKD. Apart from the Noob Saibot/Classic Sub-Zero angle, I didn't find any of the others particularly appealing.

Personally, and while I think Vogel is doing his job coming up with some nice twists, I think we might need a new writer for Mortal Kombat. If not someone to do the overall storylines, then at least someone to take the characters in hand and do something excellent with them, to stop what happened to Sonya in MKSM happening to her again, or to anyone else. There was just no need for that. She had balls before, and Boon and Co. castrated her. I think its a real shame.

The only problem I have with the new MK is the storyline, and I would like them to introduce a new writer, who has some actual flair for writing these games. Vogel just can't cut it, in my opinion.

Vogels intentions and tools are good, better than Tobias actually. Boon on the other hand is a complete failure in my eyes concerning MK.

They should get Tony Wong, whos a very infamous writer/artist for a number of Martial Arts comics. He also did a little bit for Batman introducing Nightdragon into the DC World. Or maybe even Ma Wing Shing who did "StormRiders". (Though, truthful I don't know if Ma Wing Shing knows english, I do know Tony Wong does.) Or if possible the most godly of all WuXia Genre writing... Jin Yong (though I doubt he would agree). EDIT: Oh, and if Ed Boon were to die someone would just figure out a way to resurrect him either Johnny Cage style or more hopefully Scorpion style.

Yes, don't worry. Someone always follows. Even if he dies.

either way, Mortal Kombat!

You ever play "the Grid"? Thats the kind of crap you get from Ed Boon when he doesn't have Tobias' characters to rely on.
