meat-much like original story he is a experiment from shang sung flesh pits n he escapes but is found by shangs shadow perss n is put in a spell (background of cardithal) he eventually breaks the spell n figures out he is the corpse of a long lost fighter of the past *(idk who) lol

Dairou: Like the original MKDA concept art, he's a "Ronin", a dishonored/criminal samurai and his signature fighting style is dual-wielding katanas. He escaped justice by moving from Seido or whatever to Outworld to become a killer-for-hire and Shang Tsung hired him to guard the Deadly Alliance's palace. (Fuck MK9, MKDA was the best game, it's plot should still somehow happen), and in doing so he becomes the archenemy of Kenshi who is trying to sneak in to assassinate Shang.

Darrius: Like the original MKD concept art, he's a member of the Red Dragon clan. The very discipline-centric RDs covet the Seidan Guards as "the perfect soldiers", but know that they'd never work willingly for a criminal organization. So they send Darrius to Seido to start a rebellion that will put himself in place as the new government.

Chameleon: He's an experiment created by Shang Tsung in the Flesh Pits from dead Saurians, to create the perfect warrior who can mimic the abilities of other fighters via a cross between Reptile's chameleon-skin powers and a primitive version of Shang's own shapeshifting ability. He is Shao Kahn's secret bodyguard, as Reptile is Shang's bodyguard.

Jarek: As second in command of the Black Dragon gang, after Kano disappeared and was presumed dead in the Outworld invasion, Jarek became Public Enemy #1. Hunted by both Mavado, whose mission for the Red Dragon is to put the final nail in the BD coffin, and by Kabal who became a ruthless vigilante and vowed revenge on his former BD allies after becoming one of Raiden's chosen, Jarek turns himself in to the only foes he knows won't kill him lawlessly: Sonya and the Special Forces, begging for witness protection. Suddenly, Shinnok's attack on the other realms occurs and Jarek finds himself fighting alongside Sonya and Jax, hoping that he can escape his pursuers while proving to his new allies that he's not just another Kano. (Note: Jarek's fighting style would be largely based on his MKA cowboy lasso and ethnically, he'd be southern or latino and speak with a Texan accent.)

I like everybody else. Yes, even Hsu Hao. The "sleeper agent who's been in the Special Forces since before MK1" angle was really quite cool, as was the way he was meant to be the Anti-Jax. His look and moves just needed a lot more polishing.

Given that they didn't really change many character's orgins (Mileena is the only major one I can think of) they just added meat on the bones so going with this theory:

Frost: Would almost be kidnapped from a happy family and brought up to be a slightly twisted, power hungry woman. Northern European of descent?

Reiko: One of Shao Kahn's top generals, Reiko was an excellent strategist and warrior. Reiko was instrumental in Shao Kahn's conquest of Edenia. But when he was placed in charge of a Tarkatan army he was killed in a centaur uprising (possibly by Motaro himself, seeing as Shao Kahn likes irony) due to the horde refusing to follow his commands because he was not Tarkatan.

He descended into the Netherrealm and was found by the newly established ruler of the damned: Shinnok. They worked together allowing the Brotherhood of Shadow.

Whilst he still considers himself loyal to Shao Kahn, he will take great pleasure in orchestrating and watching the genocide of the Tarkatan race that inhabits Outworld.

Kai: A wandering capeoria master searching for the ultimate challenge. Hears about Mortal Kombat and searches for a way to gain entry, unfortuently with Shinnok's invasion of the realms: Mortal Kombat finds him. Brazillian of descent.

Frost:
After discovering a strange and ancient power, she find herself to be possessed by a strong being of unnatural power. Her plans are now the destruction of all the earthrealm and the murder of her betrayed master.

Reptile:
Once the protector of shang Tsung, reptile realizes at last that the sorcerer doesn' t have the power to resurrect his Zatherran race. He now fights amongst raiden' s warriors to defeat his betrayed masters in order to ask at the thundergod to help Reptile on his desire. He seeks his vengeance against shao khan army for their failures but he now must prove himself to be a worthy ally for the thundergod. Scorpion: After discovering the truth behind the mrder of his family and clan he now fights against quan chi to seek his vengeance helping Raiden on mortal kombat after his promise to resurrect Scorpion beloved ones. Sub-zero: After his freedom from the cyborg process or reprogramming his will, sub-zero found a way to return his soul on an ice body becoming a powerful icy being as never before.

Kira- An Afghani orphan raised by a group of gunrunners who taught her in the art of kombat. I see her as being more neutral than evil.

Khameleon and Chameleon- K/Chameleon is the title given to the ruler of the Saurians. Khameleon means queen and Chameleon means King. Khameleon was the Queen of Zaterra when the tenth Outworld victory over Zaterra came approaching. Khameleon personally chose the strongest Saurian to win the tournament for their realm. In the final battle of the tournament the Saurian warrior betrayed his realm and forfeited the match, allowing Shao Khan to merge Zaterra with Outworld. In return the Saurian traitor was allowed a position of power in Shao Khan's armies. The traitor declared himself the King of the Saurians and took up the name Chameleon.

Noob Saibot: An Anicent Outworld warrior that was buried/trapped in a tomb resurrected by Quan Chi in the Netherrealm to fight for the Brotherhood of the Shadow.

im liking some of the character back story's some are very interesting

I would've liked to see Tremor from MK: Special Forces; I mean ex-Lin Kuei gone Black Dragon.What's not to like?
He could have links to about half a dozen characters;

I know his current storywise he already did / does. But I would like to have him more of a link with his Lin Kuei past. (Sorry I'm just a sucker for the MK ninja's!)

Pretty hard to have him fit in between; Noob Saibot, Smoke, Sub-Zero, Frost, Cyrax and Sektor but im sure they could think of a good background story to him.
