I'm guessing will get something around May during e3. Something small like a teaser or something.

In the latest Ed Boon interview, he was talking about MK8. He mentioned that that this years E3 won't see MK. But that could change.

"Our visual presentation and our game presentation and our thing that you’ll hear about very soon are all going to be new to this game. It’s going to be nothing like you’ve ever seen before."

Notice he said we'll be hearing about very soon. So maybe we'll get some screens or maybe a trailer sometime this summer.

I think they'll hold out. I think we'll get interview updates until about a year before release....and even then, just a little tid bit of info...written info.

I personally hope they do hold out. At least longer than they did with these last few titles...Provoking a big "boom" come release...

I just want to know what we need to expect in terms of Story. I think they are going to reveal the big thing that is supposed to be so unexpected.

i'm thinking that we will see some renders by mid-december. as for the story line, i guessing that we won't hear about that until june 2008.

Well you have to think of the big gap between Armageddon and the next game. I'm thinking a year or 2

we probably won't get any until E3 this year, or around the end of this year.

As long as Ed has some muscle, I do think he would proably go for at least a good 2 year rule.



One year to develop it and the second year to get the bugs out of it and twink it.


MkDA-MKA are good games but they are not the best that he can offer.

great games aren't rushed. i wouldn't mind waiting 3 years for mk8 if it means that it will be a great game.
