how old is Cassies alt supposed to be? *spoilers*

So we saw an alt of her on the leaked achievments that look ridiculosly young, like 15-16. Now I have nothing against violence but it would feel wrong to pull a teenage girls intestines out of her mouth. Though it might be that I grew soft over the years.
What do you think?

The comics take place 15 years after MK9, where Kittelsen has said shes about 15 or so. So 25 years after MK9, she's about 25.

Yeah Cassie being 25 just sounds odd to me. Does the netherrealm war start 5 years after MK9. If so she might be 20. Unless they didn't hookup immediately after, say maybe 2 years later, puts her at 18.

I dunno, I get the impression Jackie is older than Cassie, and Jax is older than Sonya,

so Jax could have had a wife and child in MK9 that just wasn't brought up,

As Jackies mother is unmentioned (as far as I know) theres no reason why Jackie couldn't have been born pre MK9

I think shes in the 15-18 year range when we see her in the comics. The dates all seem to be approximate. It's a little hard to believe that a 15 year old would enter a death match, or fire an automatic rifle at a gang of cyber ninjas, but the "15 years later" setting seems like its probably closer to 17-18 years later. and they're using it as a convenient increment. Cassie in the games is undoubtedly in her mid-twenties.
