I think that could be an excelent idea. Just having 24 characters will be a grnd idea, that will then allow the MK team to focus more on graphics and also gameplay.

I just want them to carry kabal on =[.
Yeah and they should do at least 10 females in a 24 char. game.
One thing is they should make some huge kak type of thing goin on.
Focusing on grahpics and taking out as many glitches as possible is great to me.

Twenty characters, each with a unique and balanced hand-to-hand and weapons style... The styles cannot be generic, they will be hybrids of multiple techniques as appropriate for each character.

Personally I think in each sequal their should always be more. BUT I'd say since ARMAGEDDON will tally to 60 characters it would be unlikely that a smaller number than that will be in the next one. I'm actually still suprised that armageddon will have that many. Not to mention with alternate outfits even.

18 characters to start with right out of the box (2 of them classic characters... Scorpion and Sub-Zero), and 6 unlockable.

Couldn't agree with you more. 18 sounds perfect. More time to emphasize on game controls, play mechanics, graphics, etc. Even 16 is fine by me. 2 of them have been comfirmed, for the rest of MK history (long live scorpion and subzero).

Around 20 characters would be great. I would like Fujin, Kenshi and Li Mei to go into the next generation along with Sub-Zero and Scorpion. But only them. Nobody else. That would give Midway 15 new characters to write good stories for.

20 to 24 is good,but the focus should be on the new characters and away from the old ones in order to make them as big as the previous characters.
