All Raiden did was blow up "almost revenant Johnny" and some how that makes the other characters in that area back to human.

The magic shockwave of the dying revanant Johnny Cage makes them human again that is according Vogel. That is pretty much it.

Stopping a revenant-in-progress unleashed a shockwave that stopped all revenant activity in the area.

I like the concept of a machine with a outright human appearance in MK, who has advanced cryomancy, ice expertise (Sub-Zero?). Obviously if this were to be an accursed Sub-Zero he would of only been this way post MK9 and it would explain much about his modification since then.

That's why Sonya ad rthe others needs Quan chi alive.

You can want an android, but Sub-Zero isn't one. Quan Chi took out all of his cybernetics, and even if he still had any, he'd still only be a cyborg, not an android.

If Quan Chi made SZ's body parts human again...why not do the same for Jax with his arms?

Agreed. That's why I feel that X should have been solely about the Netherrealm Wars and leave the Next Generation stuff until 11. The original deserve better than becoming a sub-plot to newer characters. If they weren't brought back to life then they should have been allowed to ascend to Heaven. Give them some closure.
