if this happened then whats the point of mortal kombat then? it would be one giant adventure game... lame!

the whole point of the next game is to start fresh....plus there was to many chracters that werent worth havingin the game.....the main thing im thankful MKA is that its finally an updated version of MK Trilogy.....

but with whatever the new characters will be itd be awesome to have a actual seperate and specific Konquest for each character.......that way it dives more into the background of each character....

I Think it shouldnt be to adventury but it should have more fighting and a little adventure but it should have arena fighting and out of arena fighting as well (kind of like armagedon).That better?

If Midway Makes A New Mortal Kombat game then i want to have To select a carecter for konquest Mode.

it would be cool to use any character from the series or even a kak for that matter but i think it would be better if konquest was its own action/adventure game like mk:sm if that was to happen....other than that if konquest is to be on the next game it should just stay simple with one character just because i think they should focus more on the fighting game than the minigames and konquest

This wouldnt work, usually konquest is based on one characters story. I also really doubt that the MK team would make a konquest for a variety of characters. I want MK to just have ONE main and big story line. A game with mulitiple story lines that are all different and dont go in one direction isnt fun. To me anways.

Well when playing as Scorpion and Sub-Zero in MK:Shaolin Monks we had to endure repeating Liu and Kung's storyline, so what difference would it make if we got to play Konquest mode with any character using the same storyline? I mean, if it's just for fun, it couldn't hurt.

People get so worked up over "the story" and "the story." Come on, it's a fightning game, not a book. The storyline comes in AFTER the gameplay.

This "any player" idea could work if they keep the Konquest mode gameplay identical to the gameplay of Kombat mode (but with maybe reduced graphics so it doesn't cram the entire games memory). That way, each characters' special moves and combos could be available in Konquest. Unless it's like MKD when the character can only throw on punch.

Also, you know how Shujinko had tons of unnecessary sub-missions available to him? Well it would be cool if some sub-missions are unlocked while only playing as a certain character so that each character has something new to offer. And the sub-missions could be revelant to the character's storyline.

I love this idea and I'm hoping it comes true some day.

I always thought of this, but I hated the MKA konquest, but MKD konquest was Awesome!!!
