So with 4 new characters means 4 new places of origin. Cassie is obviously from Earth Realm and Kotal Kahn is probably the same if the Aztec inspiration is true. Ferra/Torr seem to have that tattered savage design that Outworlders like so much which leaves D'Vorah left.

The question then becomes where is D'Vorah from. She doesn't seem to fit into any of the 6 realms we know of which makes me believe she's from somewhere new to the series. Whether this is an entirely new realm or a realm that was conquered (like Nitara and Vaeternus) remains to be seen.

Will the fight/story take us out of the familiar spaces like Outworld and Earth or will D'Vorah's story somehow keep us from seeing her home. I can't say I'm not exciting about the prospect of fighting in a giant hive or an overgrown and twisted garden. Who knows what's in store?

Besides Cassie, the others are probably from Outworld. If Kotal Kahn really is a god, he's from Heaven.

Maybe D'Vorah is from Zaterra. As in, another species that shared that world with the Saurians.

Hmmm, I never thought about that. Time will tell, I guess.

Reposting from an earlier thread:

Kotal Kahn
>Aztec god
>Aztecs were known for their human sacrifices
>many of their rituals involved blood
>drinks blood out of a crushed heart, Mola Ram style

My theory was that he's a guardian deity of Vaeternus. That's assuming they still remember it exists and didn't just decide to write vampires out of the new continuity entirely. And if he's the guardian of their entire civilization, it might make sense to redesign the entire vampire race from the ground up and have them be descendants of Aztecs, similar to the way those alien dudes from Stargate were descendants of Ancient Egyptians.

Of course, if he's revealed to be an actual Elder God, that theory doesn't really hold, but here's to hoping.

D'Vorah
>Wasp Lady
>wasps
>~bees
>known primarily for being social insects with a rigid caste system
>honeycombs
>nature's love letter to order and symmetry

I'm thinking she might be a native of Orderrealm. It would also explain the insectoid armor that the Seidan Guardsmen wear.

And Ferra/Torr are obviously from Outworld, because Mad Max. Hell, maybe that Outworld Bazaar arena is their home turf, and the reason Torr is so XBAWKSHUEG is because he spent his whole life spinning that fucking Wheel of Pain in the background there.
