What about mk5? it wouldn't be mk:da or mk:d because those could be refered to as side like mk:gold or mk:trilogies. Might there be an mk5 in the future or are just going to stop making numbered mk's as long as it comes out for arcade first. and if that's the case i think they should release another arcade originated mk. (mk5!)

Mk5 is Mk:DA.I don't why people just call DA instead of 5.Well yeah, that's the title of the game, but why did Midwy call it that?Mk6 is MkD,also.
And they'll probably stop making numbered Mks nowwink

Try MK5.org.wink

If you look at the cover of MKDA the steel blade thing in the front is actually a V - the roman numeral for 5.

i have an idea....

maybe they didn't make numbers in the title because it make the franchise appearing old.

I mean if someone didn't like mk4 (for exemple) maybe he will not care about the 5 or 6 or 7....but maybe the title announce a revolution (mkda) or just an evolution (mkd)...

furthermore the titlte is more expressive than a simple number:
Deadly alliance or MK5
Deception or MK 6

i prefer the titlte, let the numbers to the past!
it's good like that!

There are very few game series which retain a numerical naming system beyond 3 or 4. Final Fantasy being one exception which has held its roman numerical system to beyond ten games now (13 in the works i believe)
I prefer sub-headings to a numeric system, but im not bothered either way.
