This is my idea for an MK Kollection. In honor of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, make it based on the "other" Mortal Kombat games, the ones that tie the series together:

1)Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
2)Mortal Kombat Trilogy
3)Mortal Kombat Gold
4)Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero Mythologies
5)Mortal Kombat Special Forces

And include something like an interview with Boon and company as a special feature, where questions like these would be anwered:
1) Why did they make these games and how or if they tie into the series?
2)Which games do they like/dislike?
3)Which version of MK:SZM and MK:T do they like (PS1/N64)?
4)Why do they think some of the games didn't do so well?
5)How could they improve the games?
6)Why was Mortal Kombat Gold only on Dreamcast?

What does anyone think? Opinion/Comments? Also, I pose one of the above to some of you, which version of MK:SZM, and MK:T do you like the best?

they were originally just going to have an arcade perfect version of MK4 ported to the dreamcast. Having done that (kinda), they realized they had a lot more room left over... so they could add more things. So they did... by adding 6 more characters and more arenas. I'm sure the 64 and psx versions of MK4 would have had those characters... if those systems had the power.

I just like to think of MK4 as the incomplete version... and the real MK4 is MK Gold.

this is a good idea...they should definitely make a collectors edition of MK....with MK1, MK2, MK3, UMK, MKT, MK gold, MK szmt,......special forces we can do without....but waht the hell put it in.....this is a great idea.....it would probably be easy to make and not cost midway alot....but ALL the hardcore MK fans would buy it
