I was playing one of the newer Mortal Kombat games and ended up having one of the most awesome battles with one of the characters when I realized "Wouldn't it be cool if you could save your battles to your system to where you could show everyone how you kicked so & so's tail and how?". Kinda like how you could save your battles in Street Fighter EX 2 and change the camera angles & whatnot or like how you could save your races in the Gran Turismo. Personally, I think something like that ought to be a standard in games, like this, of today.

Anyway, I was wondering-- do you all think they ought to put something like that in the next-generation MK games??

I was a little bit shocked that they didn't add Replays after each match, honestly. Soul Calibur III had replays, Super Smash Bros. Melee allowed you to film some battles and save it to your memory card, but MK does neither.

I really wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't use it either.

what's the point of having this? it would be totally useless and basically no one would enjoy it as much as you would.

Didn't Virtual Fighter have this?

Not too bad. It'll probably be like the last 5 seconds of the match, rather than the entire match.

Replays are pointless. Do we really need to see the last 5 seconds of the round in slow mo again?
