If the veteran characters have aged 25 years, does that mean Tanya and other MK4 characters will be noticeably wrinkly and older if they appear? I'd love to see Tanya. She was fun to play with, but it'll be bittersweet to see old characters that have been ignored come back all aged looking lol. Ever since this game was announced I hadn't really thought about other characters in the 3D era looking old like Sonya, Johnny, and such.

Oops and where are my manners. I've been lurking the forum for years. I think I still have a username here since MKD days. The last time I posted was probably in 2006. Hello, ALL! My favorite character is Kitana and you can probably guess my favorite show. But back on topic! Edit: Omg I have 67 posts? Since when?! Ok. I lied about the last time I posted, probably (blushes).

Don't worry about Tanya, she's Edenian. She won't look like she's aged a day ;)

Dead Earth warriors like Smoke, Kabal, Stryker, and Nightwolf will probably return young after being restored. Sindel and Jade don't have to worry about aging.

They'll find a way to age down the other characters when they need to.

Oh yeah I feel dumb. lol. I love MK and owned the first game when it literally first came out. I haven't been a follower of the comics and in-game stories though. I only catch up when I read everyone's posts. :) Forgive me!

Remember that many characters, Tanya included, are from other Realms where the denizens don't age in the same way as Earthrealm humans. Kitana is from Edenia and is over 10,000 years old. Tanya comes from the same realm, so it is likely that she is thousands of years old as well and just ages extremely slowly. 25 years is probably nothing to her.

The Earthrealm characters such as Kai, however, are probably a little older than they were before. I believe the events of MK4 were several years after the original trilogy, so they probably wouldn't appear the full 25 years older. Kai would probably be in his 30s or 40s still, though.
