I think that we'll only get 8-10 new playable characters. Boon said that only one MK game from before has more new characters than MK, which crosses out the possibility of 11+ (Deadly Alliance), unless he counted wrong or something. He said Deception, but that was probably a mistake.

About the old on top, new on bottom: Boon was just messing around, as he's known to do. That guy who tweeted wasn't wrong, and Boon pointed out that he wasn't, but that doesn't necessarily reflect how the final select screen will look. And I doubt it, because I don't see them arbitrarily making exactly half the roster new, half returning. They're just gonna include whoever they want.

Btw, there is no 25 year leap. It's a 25-year timespan and we're going to see moments during year 5, year 10, year 15, and so on.

I very much doubt it, that would leave only 4 more returning characters but If you're right, as you can see below that's A LOT of new characters. I personally wouldn't mind because every new character revealed so far has been awesome.

I think he can be the boss, or maybe a link in the storymode, that makes Quan Chi kill him and gain his status and power.

Would be sweet if Shinnok is one of the two characters that gets revealed this week.



Forest Fox won't be in. As for Erron Black, remember the place holder silhouettes back at E3 on the select screen? Well, there was one that looks like him and with out a doubt, he will be in.

Those weren't real, Raiden, Kitana and Kung Lao are not on that screen at all, and there is no cowboy hood there, it is far from being that wide.

I think nobody assumed they are real, it was posted just as an example.

No shit Sherlock. All I was saying is that Erron Black looked like one of the silhouettes, didn't say it was him. Plus he doesn't wear a damn hood. This silhouette was under Kotal Kahn at the time. Go back and look just for kicks.

I don't see that happening but I wouldn't hate it.
