Still no announcement or a pic whatsoever. Here's a question....do you REALLY think the MK 2011 demo is a true addition?

No. It doesn't exist.
So if it does exist I'll be pleasently surprised (even though it doesn't exist).

At this point, I'm going to say it does exist, and it may include a demo, depending on when it comes out. I doubt it's going to be out in November if they haven't released it by now, but it might.
However, if it does drop in November, I'm pretty sure it won't have a demo for Mortal Kombat with it.

I'm thinking this game exists, but how come nobody has asked a dev? I doubt they want to market the hell out of it because it steals MK9 thunder, but they aren't really pushing MK9 at the moment either.
My 90s kid side begs it be true. My 20 year old mind tells me we've seen too little to close to release in a day and age where EVERYTHING leaks to believe it.

I certainly hope the game exists haha
reminds me of way back there were rumors of "up-and-coming" MK games that turned out fake. I think one was like MK Nitro or something.

Someone did. MKU asked Ed Boon about the HD project, and his response was freakin' hilarious. Basically, he said that he couldn't say anything because he didn't want to lie to the fans.
Here's the Interview. The question is asked around the 4:30 mark.
This game is happening. Multiple stores don't carry pre-order information for games that don't exist.

Yeah, I don't understand why people are refuting it's existence. I mean, the fact that it's more than a rumor at this point clearly indicates it's existence. But I doubt that it'll have a demo for MK2011.
It's happening, has been happening for months, and by this point they've likely submitted for it to go gold.
The only reason I can see for the hesitancy in announcing it months in advance is that they didn't want to wind up putting their foot in their mouth and going the same route as SSFIIHDR, where it got announced and delayed like three times before turning out vastly inferior to how it was first shown as looking. Remaking a 2D game from the ground up is tricky business.

Wait, how did it look inferior? I know there were problems with some gameplay revisions but that was Capcom's fault. Udon's sprites were pretty much on point with what they had shown pre-release from what I remember.
Maybe I'm wrong, though.

I want this to be real, but why hasn't it been announced yet. Especially seeing as it's a month away.
I'm going to be so happy if I'm playing it in a months time.
Take a look at this pre-release shot of Original Ryu's intended sprite look. Now check out this SFIIHDR sprite in motion:

There's a hell of a lot of color difference, a hell of a lot less detail in the sprite than there would be if it actually looked the way it did on that sprite sheet. As I've heard it, the downscaling had to do with two factors - the fact that at the time, downloadable games had set size limits, and SSFIITHDR was waaaay over the top, as well as the fact that all that detailing and animation was a bitch and a half.

Yeah, wow. That is definitely a couple of (hundred) steps down from that image.
Point conceded.

I know it's been "confirmed" by wildly unknown sources but with it supposedly coming out in a month and still no word, no pic, no anything, I just really don't buy into it.
Sure it probably is being made, I am just a pessimist.

Well according to the interview Ed Boon's exact quote is that he doesn't want to "DENY anything and lie to the fans" essentially a confirmation.
I hadn't seen those interviews before, but they basically are confirmations of the games existence.
Also Hans Lo talks about how hard it is to make a demo, especially while they're main focus is the game itself. Which kinda made me feel that one reason they didn't announce it yet was because they didn't know if they could promise a demo or not.
