Future Game idea

What if they did something similar to Halo Reach in terms of you being the main character?

Like a story mode where you are your own custom fighter and you follow the path of good or evil depending on which you choose. Fighting familiar faces while to fulfill your destiny and by winning fights you can unlock more moves, costume pieces, etc. And featuring a custom made fatality unlike that horrid Armageddon fatality system where you can actually design your own fatality. This is just an idea that I wanted to share, feel free to add on to it,

The idea is interesting but I think it should follow an exististing MK character like Deception did I liked the Konquest mode. It should follow Kai and it could reveal more about him and show him as a bad ass. The bad guy it should follow would be Reiko.

I'd rather see an original idea rather than an idea that already happens in a totally different game.

The only thing not original is you actually get to be the main character. That is the only thing I took, the rest is something I thought up. My bad for liking an idea and supporting it.

But I do agree with Kai needing his own story line. He was amazing in MK4! And Reiko happens to be my favorite villain in MK4 as well

I don't have an issue with your idea, if that's what you're getting at. It's just, I'd rather see something that hasn't been done before, whether or not it's in the same category with Mortal Kombat.

Not as a mode in the fighting game proper. As it's own stand alone title? I could see that being a lot of fun. You name your character, create them from scrach, earn tons of stuff throughout the game that unlocks everything from new hairstyles to special moves that you can use etc, etc.

But as I said, to me, that kind of lends itself to more of an adventure game then just being some half-baked mode in a fighting game.

Just my opinion though.

Oh ok, my bad if I sounded kinda hostile, didn't mean it that way. But yeah, something kinda unique for once, get to see the MK world through your own eyes and make your own decisions and fight whoever. Kinda like Kreate-a-fighter but with your character actually having an importance in the MK universe.
