Don't really see all the hype around Fujin, he looked bland in story mode. If they do it right with his design and move set tha could improve his chances, otherwise I see him at the bottom of the most played list.

I think it boils down to people wanting another "God" character. Yeah, Shinnok is a fallen Elde God, but he just seems like he's lacking in power compared to Raiden. It's all about him being elemental. Given Raiden's move set, and having the BEST X-Ray in the game, the potential for Fujin could be tremendous and he could be an absolute blast to play as.

I remember some time ago he tweeted a picture of Bo'Rai Cho with the caption "No Treble."

Fujin is the Martian Manhunter of MKX, he'll be the fifth DLC character because it's a marketing ploy. Which is fine with me, add that mother fucker into the game already.

Fujin doesn't look very cool, but his wind powers could make his gameplay so damn fun, dare I say...godlike?

People saying Fujin doesn't look cool...Um he was never a character who was overdesigned anyway. He's always had a very simplistic appearance.

He doesn't need to look cool for me though, I like the character and his powers so im not too worried about how he looks for the most part

I would totally be fine if they take his in-game model from story if they add him in. He really needs to be added in somehow.

Am I like the only person who likes Fujin's costume? If I had to give out the most unoriginal costume award it would go to Cassie and Jacqui.

MKX Fujin is the best he's ever looked imo. I wiuld be perfectly fine if they added that model in game. I still need a MK4/MKA alt though :P

I love his looks in this game. I didn't approve of the hair at first and still prefer that Radditz length hair, but after givng it thought this IS his mk4 appearance. It's the same outfit he wore in mk4 with modern graphics and design. His hair wasn't braided, but it was that length in mk4. If he does make it I'm almost certain his alternate will be his Armageddon look or something like it.

As for his moveset, I hope they come up with something real juicy...or windy lol. I just know a buttload of his dialogs with Raiden are gonna be somewhere along the lines of, "I'll protect Earthrealm! No me! Earth is MINE!"

Fujin has never had a bad look to me. His Armageddon look is still my favorite, but his MKX look is great as well.

Can't wait to really see Fujin's name on the bullet when he gets put in.

With all this trolling from Boon, I'll be disappointed if Fujin doesn't make it as DLC after the current Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat isn't really story driven anymore. That why Fujin got shafted. If anything Fujin should have at least been first DLC over Tremor.

"Not story driven" in relation to what? Id say the last two mortal kombat games have had the most story development, as well as story quality. The first generation of games were just characters with gimmicks they thought were cool. The details didn't really matter as long as Liu Kang beats the bad guy in the end.

That being said, it seems like MKX's characters and story were developed totally independently. Almost like the developers picked the long-standing favorites, invented some new characters and got around to writing a story later. Because it's really obvious:

1. We have characters that for all intents and purposes should be absent.
2. Are missing relevant characters with no explanation.
3. Have new characters that don't quite fit into the story.

When MK9 ended I figured the plot of the following game would be Outworld and Earthrealm teaming up to fight the Netherrealm. With Mileena being the only heir left to both the Outworld and Edenian monarchies, why wouldn't they want to Who would realistically assume the Netherrealm would stop at taking over just Earthrealm? That's a game in itself. Mortal Kombat Gold + Cool Undead Revenants. The "20 years later" characters are cool, but really should have been the focus of their own game.
