DLC most likely. If they don't die that is.

Reiko is playing a major part in the comics so I'd expect him as DLC.

Fujin on the other hand only had a few pages, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for him, although he still has a big chance because of his big fanbase, and fan demand for him.

I'd expect to see both of them, but I think Reiko stands the better chance.

Reiko is kind of up in the air but I consider Fujin kind of like Martian manhunter of injustice would be surprised if they didn't include him

Fujin definitely not in, Reiko still a chance for a boss or DLC.

I still think it would be a cool idea to have Reiko wearing Shao Kahn's armour as a boos :p. Dunno if they'll ever do it though.

Fujin may have only been in a few pages of the comic, but apparently, he's in the first chapter of the MKX story mode. He still has a chance to be DLC.

Besides Tremor, I think Fujin and Tanya might be the most requested characters. They were both "almost DLC" for MK9. I really think these 3, plus Reiko and Noob Saibot, will all be in at some point. Whether thats DLC or Unlockable hidden characters, remains to be seen.

Im still bitter that the MK4-Kast isn't front and center from the get-go. It was my favorite MK. I was so excited from the MK9 cliffhanger. I might even be the only Kai fan on this forum. LoL

You and I both. I'm really let down that we haven't seen more of the MK4 cast. I still have hope, but it looks thin. I also do no like the idea of the MK4 cast being DLC. They should be in from the get go.

I was never a massive Reiko fan before but the comic has got me so excited to see him in game-which is surely the point of having a comic before the game comes out no??

there has been absolutely no mention of her so far which I find amazing

but they will at least have 1 dlc female and I would have thought she would be candidate number one

After the initial MKX announcement, I straight up assumed Kai would be the main protagonist. It was only logical given that Liu Kang and Kung Lao were dead. I was hyped to see a Capoira variation! LoL

I wouldn't hold anything indefinite when it comes to DLC. Alot of people voted for Powergirl in the poll for Injustice and we ended up getting Zatanna. Hope is still relevant for dlc spots.

Both characters I'd love to see playable, from a game I have no attachment too. No huge loss if they don't appear, but I'd love become a proper fan of them. Good designs, good character concepts. Just need to see them properly utilized to become a full fledged fan.

At first, I was sure it's Liu Kang, but at this point, he's the only one who has not been hinted at or even made any sort of appearance. The guy in the tower could very well be Fujin.

TKT said a little while ago that they don't believe the guy in the tower is Fujin. They also say his model seems less detailed and that it seems like he's going to be a NPC.

I want Fujin so fucking bad and I want to believe, but that's probably Liu Kang.

Who cares what anybody else believes? He's in the story and not de-confirmed, they are still working on DLC and they would be known beforehand so this could be tease from his early model.

I don't care too much about Fujin, though if there are any characters left from MK4-MK armageddon: Havik and him are my favourites. So if he's in: cool, if not: at least he's in the story getting his due.

I refuse to believe that NRS would simply DROP the mk4 characters.

Where is Reiko? Where is Fujin? Where is Tanya? I can forgive them for not including Jarek, but they could've found a way to incorporate Liu as the boss and Kai a playable character in his place.

The new characters are trash to me. I love MK, but I really hope I don't shelf this game after I finish story mode.

I agree that I really don't want to believe that NRS would just drop the characters. Obviously Fujin and Reiko have both been shown in the comics, and Fujin is known to be in the story with a new outfit and a staff. So obviously they're still around, but we don't know how big a part they will play in the story. We'll just have to wait and see, if anything they have a chance to be unlockable characters or DLC. The latter being more likely.

I definitely disagree that the new characters are trash, but I've got to say I like the initial 4 WAY more than the offsprings. But hopefully I like them more when the game is actually released.
