She's dead and buried, man/woman. It was made canon in Subbie's MKD bio.

But, hey, since when does that mean anything in MK? She'll be back, in a big way hopefully.

Frost is dead, her body is lying in a frozen temple in Outworld. In Sub-Zero's ending he returns to Earthrealm with a wounded Frost from her battle with the Deadly Alliance. As we all know she never made it to that battle due to her greed which had bested her. In a way, through her deception Frost had saved Sub-Zero's life.

I would like to believe that because of Frost's actions in her life she would be sent to the Netherealm for her unquenchable lust for power, her monumental amount of greed, and her deception to her master. For a very fortunate twist in Frost's story, I would like to see the Netherealm affecting her body.

Frost could have a new ally while in the Netherealm which would only add on to the drama of Sub-Zero's life. Let us say that she would be lost and stranded in the Netherealm with no guidance. It is in Frost's nature to follow since she followed Sub-Zero in her life on Earthrealm. Since Noob Saibot is looking for many to form ranks behind him, I think that Noob Saibot would allow Frost to join his cause. However, I believe that since Frost has her Kori powers she would remind him of his previous life and would develop a connection with her.

Frost and Noob Saibot would grow to learn of each other and Noob Saibot would have Frost her pupil, just as Sub-Zero did while she was still mortal. Frost would explain to Noob Saibot the Dragon Medallion and the tremendous power it holds. Frost would attempt to claim it again since now she has no physical form to be consumed thanks to Noob Saibot's ability to open a portal from the Netherealm back into Outworld.

I think it would be very fitting if Noob Saibot and Frost joined forces together and searched for Sub-Zero and his medallion. Sareena would have refuge in the Lin Kuei so she would play a very fitting role in this story, along with Scorpion who could play the role as a potential ally for Sub-Zero only in their cause against Noob Saibot. What do you think would come across Sub-Zero's mind when he learns that his brother is back along with his former pupil and both of them want him dead?

If you remember, somebody reversed one of the backwards talking people in the MK:D konquest mode. They said:

"It may be that Frost is merely hibernating"

I think she will return. She had a lot of support from people, i think the MK crew would want her to return.

for those of you who think frost wont come back cuz shes dead, get real, this is MK you know shes gonna come back. I personally want her to come back and try to steal Subbie's position by force. I think she should be turned into a cyborg. by someone else who hates Subbie *cough* Noob *cough* oh sorry i really did cough, if you didn't catch it, Nobb should bring Frost back. as a cyborg.

That doesn't look like frost at all, the hue is all wrong. You gave her Sub-Zero's hue, not hers. Frost should look like well...Light Blue frost hue. But I don't like the idea of another robot anyways.

I agree, the storyline that Grizzle came up with is pure brilliance in my opinion. Frost being in the Netherrealm and then aligning herself with Noob Saibot. Not only would it cause some drama for the Lin Kuei grandmaster facing his brother and his former pupil, but don't forget that Smoke is also behind Noob, so Sub-Zero's got to go up against his brother, former student, and best friend. Can't get much, or can it?

I agree frost should come back... but I think since she is dead she should either become a spectre (and become Scorp's sidekick) or a wraith (and become noob's 2nd Sidekcik)... she could be the 1st nethercyborg

Frost was a good concept, but not one to be used again. When you have to recycle characters into other ones, you know you're lacking in originality.
(this doesn't count for other characters, like cyborgs and revamped ninjas. They have each have specific attributes, rather than being recycled from each other)

I have actually thought of this plot myself, as I was reading this I already knew where you were going with this. Adding Scorpion and Sareena aswell. Oh, well great minds think alike isn't it?

Well if I remember correctly one of Sub-Zero's bios said that he had a brother(Noob) and a sister who was not trained by the LIn Kuei in China but instead remained in America with their mother. Now it is my theory that Frost is Sub and Noob's sister. I think it would be cool if Frost reappeared with the story line progressing in this direction. She could be the bridge between her two brothers. Who will she side with good or evil.

I'm tired of defending Frost... She's not dead. The word "dead" or a variation of it have never been stated in describing what she is. The people in Chaosrealm who talk about her hibernating is reason enough to believe that she'll return. People seriously need to open their minds, instead of immediately assuming things which are fed to them... Anyway...

I just see her returning as the same ol' Frost... Upgraded one way or the other, though. Like Sub-Zero's armor, she could receive greater powers and strength with controlling her Kori abilities... Or something like that.

I'm assuming the next game will have Sareena finally betraying Sub-Zero, which is where I can see Frost fitting in. I doubt she will return "good" and suddenly befriend Sub-Zero... So an allegiance with her and possibly also Noob Saibot could work.

Her appearance would be more rugged and sinister, I think. Her hair would be messy and her clothing darker... Maybe the meaningless blank eyes Boon loves so much, too.

While Sub-Zeros bio in MKD says he buried her, Im sure she is not dead.

I like her the way she is. Maybe Frost is just frozen and somebody in the future might help her out of it, then she'll have to return the favor by maybe serving the person, whoever that is evil or good. Who knows? That's what I think though...

Yeah if she is dead, I was thinking she should turn into a female wraith like character since she is tainted a little bit by evil, like Original Sub-Zero was.

Heres my take.

No alturations of her appearance, she should revived by Noob Saibot who discovers her. She is not dead.
I prefer Noob Saibot to be the only Wraith, just like i prefer Scorpion to be the only Spectre.

Cyborg idea lame.

Yeah..see'ing her come back being an ally of Noob Saibot's would make for a very interesting storyline, Sub-Zero waging his own little war against Noob/Smoke and Frost.
