WB still owns all the rights, Paramount has just been given the right to make a new movie within a 5 year window. That's it. Friday the 13th, and Jason, are still owned by WB. They struck a deal so that WB could get some percentage of Interstellar's profits, because they like working with Nolan, and in turn Paramount gets the rights to a 5 year period where they can make a new Friday, and South Park film.

So his chances are still just as decent.

Also, this Friday the 13th was not just announced, it's been announced for about a year now. It was supposed to come out this year, then they pushed it back 'til November, and now it's been pushed back to the beginning of next year.

And it's not going to be a "found footage" movie! Ah, the little victories.

I would love to see Jason in mkx, and looking forwards to the new movie

Today would've been the day to announce him as a guest if it's truly him. movie wise im glad they are stealing away from the found footage garbage. They stated that this movie will explain how he keeps coming back. LOL. That was kind of the problem with the remake with mears in the role. Tried to inject a real story line into a classic slasher. It would never with with Jason. I love F13 but let's face it the movies are mindless guilty pleasures and not going to be an Oscar winner. Keep it simple.

There's a Friday the 13th in March too. Just an FYI. Would be suited better around that time IMO.

Can't wait for when Jason is officially announced, imo, in March. A few fatality ideas would be fun.

Fatality 1 (close) Jason uses brute force to punch a hole through his opponent's chest while reaching up and grabbing the back of their head. A final moan is heard before he snaps their neck and throws their body hard onto the ground.

Fatality 2 (medium) Jason pulls out his machete and slices his opponent's legs off just above the knees. They fall to the ground bleeding and screaming. He slowly walks up and drives the machete through their throat as they choke and gag on blood before they die.

Fatality 3 (medium) Jason pulls out a spear gun and shoots his opponent through their eye. As they are screaming he slowly walks up to them and violently pulls it out and drives it upward through their stomach and finally finishes through the top of their skull.

What are some of your ideas?

His grab should totally be putting the opponent in a bag than slamming them around a few times.

Lol don't worry about it, the other forums I use have dedicated buttons for posting links and images so I don't get it either
