MK9's story mode basically gave us a one sided tale all from the Earth realm warriors perspective. All the characters on the evil side were all punching bags for the good guys. I remember growing up speculating the plot lines for the classic games and the bad guys had great moments too that we didn't get to see in the remake.

We never got to see Baraka's secret love interest with Mileena which was hinted at in the MK2 endings, that would have given both characters a cool dynamic.

We never get to see Reptile have any interaction with Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn about their agreement to restore his fallen race. We don't get to see Reptile being invisible spying on the good guys in MK1. We also didn't get to see his cool plot line with Jade during the MK3 time where he was instructed to kill Kitana in contrast of Jade being instructed to bring her in.

It would have been fun to see the creation of Ermac, or the automation process of Cyrax and Sektor.

We never got to see the tension between the Shokan and the Centaurian races with Sheeva and Motaro, or King Gorbak's rage against Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung for the apparent death of Goro after MK1, or the epic revealing of Kintaro to Shao Kahn.

We never get to see Kano use his cunning to free himself out of captivity and work his way up the ranks in Shao Kahn's army and his epic showdown with Sonya in MK3.

If people thought that the story to MK9 was great, imagine the epic potential that it had if it added a few more chapters including the bad guys. I know there are fans out there too who feel the same way I do. If there can be one voice to make it on those live feeds to answer this question that would be awesome. If only to let the developers know it is something that would make their game even better.
