It makes me think Onaga since Kamidogus and being emperor of out outworld forever was his thing , not kotals .

I doubt it will release this week, next Tuesday seems like a decent bet. The trailer could show off an unannounced character too, then the next stream could show them in detail.

Has it occurred to anyone here that maybe they don't want to show us much of the story for MKX because the story for the last game got leaked everywhere before release?

Not trying to put anyone down because I don't know if I'm right, but I'm kind of surprised that I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere.

The boss could be dragon king related but perhaps with a twist with Liu Kang this time, or in the comic that demon that is running amok hinting at being Havik...perhaps he corrupts Liu Kang and thats how he goes bad. Either way my money is on Liu Kang.

The way MK9 went down with the story leak, I don't even want story details anymore. I'll save it for when I eventually own the game and console.

Would be better if they didn't show anything pertaining to the story. Keep everything story related behind closed doors until we play the game.

As for hinting at the main big bad, it will probably be easy to crack.

When they said the Big Bad was a returning character it might have been a trick question. My bid goes to some type of incarnation of The One Being. He's been there all along subtely nudging the events of Mortal Kombat. In many of the stages it looks like the realms are merging hence foreshadowing the "return" of the ancient being.
