Gotta be Bo Rai Cho, Li Mei and Sareena.

Frost's is the worst and most forced. it actually ruined an excellent scene

I just wanted to see sub zero get an apprentice since everyone else does. Hopefully she will be developed in the next game.

2. Sareena -> I was pleasantly surprised as I don't care much about her
3. Rain
4. Li Mei

Seeing Bo was really cool. I never thought I'd see him again so that was neat. Sareena was another good one.

Being a Li Mei fanboy she gets my obvious vote. Fujin was cool for the few seconds we get with him. Sareena was cool too as was Bo Rai Cho. Frost without a doubt had a god awful cameo that made her look awful; weak and stupid.

Sareena for sure.

While other has good cameos (Fujin, LiMei) I sort of expected them to appear in some way. Sareena came as a complete surprise to me as the team tend to overlook her.

I smiled like a kid on Christmas when Sareena showed up... and she looked AMAZING. I have always stood by her as the most underused but worthy character in the series, so it was good seeing her there.

I mean, she used to look like this:


And she looked like this in MKX:


Fujin was great too. I fully expect him to be in Round 2's DLC.

Kitana and Kung Lao, but Liu Kang, Ermac, Reptile and Ferra/Torr were great too.

Just kidding, all were good, the only one I didn't like was Frost, she was forced and I found her voice very funny. Sareena was the best.

Rain, Fujin, and Bo' Rai Cho.

In that order. Rain's voice and headstrong Prince of Edenia mindset. <3

Wish Bo had gotten a bit more screen time but Fujin was shining like a star so he gets second.

Really enjoyed Rain and Fujin. Hope they make it in as DLC

I liked Rain the most. They treated him with great respect and hopefully what was said was great build up and foreshadowing.

I also really liked that that ended up being Li Mei

Frost got me so hyped. She looked awesome

I really liked all of them, but my favorite was Fujin of course. Sareena suprized me as well. I love her mention of Bi-Han and how he changed her heart. It's like what I've been saying all along when people shout that Bi-Han was supposedly, "the evil brother." Not to mention, she ended up looking as good as the models that made it onto the playable roster and they didnt half-ass her.

Bo Rai Cho was cool too. I loved his interaction with Raiden. Rain was great, but I'm still wondering why he sounded like Shredder. Lol

Yeah, some of the voices were strange. Rain's didn't fit his character at all.

Anyway, for me it was great to see BRC again, but then he joined the veterans in getting unnecessarily chumped in the story mode.

Li Mei and Fujin had the best cameos. Fujin kicked ass and Li Mei looked beautiful with her new outfit and she sounded great.


Bo had a nice cameo too. Sareena too.

Fujin, Rain, and Sareena for me. I thought they all looked great and very distinctive. Also, I just want to say my girl Sindel was giving me life as always. Her exchange with Cassie was just awesome. Her phrases are phenomenal and the delivery is just superb. I hope to see more of her in the future lol.

In my opinion...

1. Rain - Despite being an NPC, he had an awesome re-design, and a neat story for himself. Plus, he actually did something useful in saving Mileena's life and kicking Kotal off a building.

2. Fujin - Fujin was always kind of "meh" to me, but he kicked serious ass and looked awesome in his scenes. After seeing them, I honestly felt that it was an injustice to not allow him to be playable.

3. Sareena - Same with Fujin. Seeing her kick ass was awesome, and I really want to know more about how she fits into this time line.

4. Li Mei - Her new appearance was simply incredible, and I love that they made her a leader figure among the Outworld refugees. I would have loved to have seen her in action.

5. Tanya - She looked great, and had a serious attitude. However, as a Tanya fanboy, I'm not really liking the direction that her story has taken in this new timeline. Dvorah basically stole her defining characteristic as a traitor to her realm and an ally of the Brotherhood of Shadow. It left Tanya as simply a subordinate to Rain, who is in turn a subordinate of Mileena.

6. Bo Rai Cho - He was a pleasant surprise, but I don't think his appearance did justice to his big persona.

7. Frost - She shows up, looks ridiculous, does nothing, is annoying while doing it, and then goes away. Was she even necessary?

8. Baraka - He stopped being interesting after MK4, and dumbing him down to a cameo really didn't help him out...

Fujin and Sereena

1. Fujin. Agree with above poster, an injustice he isn't there on main roster - completely robbed. I also agree he's one of the few characters who will sell *extremely* well as a standalone, still hopeful we'll see him after Kombat pack 1.

2. Li Mei. It was so good to see my girl warbling on about her village again!! Awesome redesign, love to see her back in action!!

3. Bo Rai Cho. Again, good to see him back, looking svelte around the waistline and more sobre - a nice mature approach to a 3d era klassic.

4. Sareena. I'm far from a Sareena fan, but something about seeing a total MK obscure really made me smile and she looked great. A nice nod to the hard fans.

5. Rain. I don't really understand the Rain "thing" but I concede this was a lush redesign. It really shocks me how sonya/jacqui can look so bland and npc can look so awesome. Happy for Rain fans but odd and confusing priorities from NRS.

6. Frost. My 9 year old niece squealed with delight when she saw Frost. (Mind you, her favourite character is ferra/torr - perhaps that's their target audience!!)

The rest were the MK9 cast-offs, was more than happy for them all to sit out til 11 or even 12.
