It would be a lot of Alts, but they already have the basics for designs from past characters and I just think it would be pretty awesome and add a lot of incentive to join certain factions.

I could see this happening, but I think IF it did happen you would only get ones that make sense, like a Brotherhood Leader Quan Chi skin or a Grandmaster Sub-Zero skin, and stuff like that.

For example if you join the Lin Kuei and get to a certain level or however that works, you can unlock a special skin for Sub-Zero that you can only unlock by doing certain things while under the Lin Kuei.

I like the idea of the "What If" costumes though, imagine a Brotherhood Of Shadow Raiden or a Lin Kuei Scorpion skin lol

It sounds amazing in theory, but on a practical/logistic scale it simply won't happen (maybe for a select few, and even then only for their corresponding faction).

That'd be 5 alts. per character.

Well, we technically got Brotherhood of Shadows alts for all the heroes starting the game as revenants, so there is that... but I can't picture Jax or Sonya having a Black Dragon outfit to mention just an example. 5 faction alts for 24+ characterd when 99% wouldn't make much sense is taking a lot of resources that could be used to improve the quality of more useful aspects IMHO.

We already got multiple unlockable faction kills to show how much support you're giving to your faction the higher the unlock level for your faction kill is.

The only way I see this being feasible is if there were 5 general faction outfits, and your character gets to 'wear' one if they reach high enough in the faction. Maybe a little custom fitting to the size of the character but still the same faction skin for everyone in it. I think this would still be cool because getting the outfit as kinda like a 'welcome to the faction!'

Yes yes yes. I really like OP's idea even if it's an alt only for characters that definitely shouldn't belong in that factor. Special Forced Kano, Red Dragon Sonya, and Lin Kuei Scorpion
